This would be fine if you couldn't hear her falsetto breaking out all the time. Unfortunately there are even professional opera singers who don't give a damn about this. Eva Marton for instance (not that she's any good, anyways). But at least there's not a hint of the Goofy (yes, the cartoon character) voice and the childish growling of Ruthie Henshall. Ruthie Henshall is never fine unless someone shoots her dead.

Dear Marilena, this song become my favorite from the time when I sing it for first time, but I sang only I got rhythm without the slower part :) and when I heard this slower part I felt very surprised, because I'd never heard it, but I'd liked it!! So as you see i can say only BRAVO :) and Thank you for the good song!! By the way I found only your performance is by the original music of Gershwin and so in my way of thinking :)

I paused the video to make my first post, but that was a mistake. The tempo engages as it moves along. Nice interpretation. A very nice voice, too!

I think this is an appropriate tempo for a recital. When the entire piece is performed, it should move a little faster. The singer has a good voice, too.
