(Quakelive is basically a free version of Quake3 which came out in '99). Of course there are new guys too
Now imagine that there are people who would destroy those people in the video as hard as they did you. I seriously cant play any other fps, it has ruined every other game for me.. When you get really good at this game you are hooked for life but many people dont have the drive or desire or time to get good and never experience its awesomeness.

You can have a custom game config to make it easier on your eyes. Also i would recommend you to see the series of games cooller vs cypher that are up on this channel: QCon2010tempVODS .These guys are pretty much some of the best quake players of all time. single player as well its not just multiplayer only you said sombody else was playing lol & it dont look strange too me iv been playing it since 1999 lol far from a new game & the devolpers are id softwere and there is now point in comparing it too call of duty its nothing like call of duty or black opps your noob sorry but its true
You might not believe it but Quake players often regard Quake Live as the slowest paced game in the series. It takes a while to get the hang of the game but stick with it for a while because we need new players. Eventually you don't think about the pace and start playing almost on auto-pilot especially in Clan Arena.
btw everytime you want do do rj or rocket jump aim in floor/wall press shoot+space and you need to learn 1 starfe which gave you speed....everything can be find on forum and youtube :D

Awesome vid man. Wish more new players had the same attitude you have. Most just get frustrated and leave because of the difficulty.

hehe if you think quakelive is fast then you need to watch the quake 3 mod cpma or quakeworld :D
I've got a couple cpma games on my youtube page.
In quake you can record demos (basically replays) which you could then play back and record with fraps instead of doing it while playing.
