If luffy did get romantically involved then that would distract him from being the king of pirates. And I LOVE luffy the way he is now. I really would like to see him fall in love but I think it's pretty clear to everyone that he is asexual...and I think he seems ok with that. lol
The way I see it is...u can't trust anything Oda is saying as a writer when I have friends asking me what's gonna happen in the my story I won't tell them nor give them hint or to be devious I tell them something completely different. So I doubt he will give a hint to anything in OP...so let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope at the end we see a little boy with black hair standing next to a beautiful woman with flowing orange hair with a smiling proud Pirate King father :-)

Just look at how the art style has changed over the course of the series. Female characters got more and more 'shapely'. Drastically so. Even the manner of female clothing has gotten noticeably more provocative, so you can't just put it down to the characters getting older.
Also, there's the fact that despite the Straw Hat Pirates' platonic camaraderie to this point, marriage, love, and having children is not at all an infrequent theme in the show with other, older characters. Thus, I think the only real reason romance hasn't happened yet is because Oda decided the main-characters simply haven't been old enough for it.
But as the One Piece audience itself grows older, so too are the main-characters, and sooner or later this subject will be explored.

I have to say I do love Luffy/Nami it's one of the couples that although it hasn't happened you can see them working out so well. Although both of them havn't yet got any romantic fealings alot can change now the timeskip has occured, I mean Luffy can't be completely dense now as he knows Boa loves him, and he outwardly rejects marrying her.
Still what I love about Luffy/Nami are those subtle yet caring moments that shows their great nakama-ship like communicating through Luffy's hat :)

You missed the "Luffy puts Nami his hat" scene from Squalo's (btw one of my favorite scenes in OP), and the "Luffy carries Nami to the top of a mountain" scene right before they find Chopper, when she's close to death. But they're just friends. All the video shows is friendship, just like Luffy and Sanji or Zoro. It's natural they are close friends, but as they're a boy and a girl, people start wondering, that's all.

Sanji is more of a pervert, so he'll be okay with any girl so long as she beautiful. Although i get the feeling hes going to end up with someone thats going to make him work for their love. (Some kind of princess type. Was thinking Vivi, but i'm not too sure) Also the reason Nami and Luffy seem like a good couple is Luffy's hat. His most prized possesion, and Nami is the only person he is willing to give it to. And don't forget the countless times Nami broke down, and Luffy consoled her.

Luffy and Nami will never be a couple for to 3 reasons:
1. Oda said there will be no romance within the Straw Hat crew (except Sanji's one-sided loves for Nami and Robin)
2. Luffy doesn't have any physical attractions towards women
3. Nami won't fall in love with an idiot like Luffy.

love this song i think that it fits pervaly for nami she had hard times and now luffy came along brighten up her life and nami fighting to ignore her feeling for him but finding it hard to do so she finaly understands that she love him but wont say it.

I have to say I do love Luffy/Nami it's one of the couples that although it hasn't happened you can see them working out so well. Although both of them havn't yet got any romantic fealings alot can change now the timeskip has occured, I mean Luffy can't be completely dense now as he knows Boa loves him, and he outwardly rejects marrying her.
Still what I love about Luffy/Nami are those subtle yet caring moments that shows their great nakama-ship like communicating through Luffy's hat :)

You missed the "Luffy puts Nami his hat" scene from Squalo's (btw one of my favorite scenes in OP), and the "Luffy carries Nami to the top of a mountain" scene right before they find Chopper, when she's close to death. But they're just friends. All the video shows is friendship, just like Luffy and Sanji or Zoro. It's natural they are close friends, but as they're a boy and a girl, people start wondering, that's all.

Sanji is more of a pervert, so he'll be okay with any girl so long as she beautiful. Although i get the feeling hes going to end up with someone thats going to make him work for their love. (Some kind of princess type. Was thinking Vivi, but i'm not too sure) Also the reason Nami and Luffy seem like a good couple is Luffy's hat. His most prized possesion, and Nami is the only person he is willing to give it to. And don't forget the countless times Nami broke down, and Luffy consoled her.

I can't picture Luffy and Nami with any 1 else b sides each other. If you watch the episodes in the Arlong arc, you clearly see that she's in love with him. 1 of these days Nami's gonna confess, but 4 now, she's in deep denial.
