@jeleung If he began depositing all that money, each week, the banks would get suspicious about where it was coming from. They would want to find out his income, his pretty much everything. He could be upfront, but there would still be a lot more scrutiny.

@jeleung Although it is stupid keeping all the money at home. the banks not going to believe a college student is making 42k a week. Plus IRS may get involved after putting in or taking a certain amount from his account but I agree. Hide it somewhere better than the dorm or put a certain amount in the bank for safety or a possible new investment etc...

@jeleung You need to understand that if they keep all that money in the bank, The IRS is going to audit their ass. That's why they don't cash out all their chips at once. The casino has a rule that if you cash a certain amount at once, you need to report it as income to the IRS. That's also why they carry the money with them when they go through the airport. So overall, the way they count cards is illegal, considering they are part of tax fraud and I'm pretty sure having a fake id is illegal.

hey what does he mean when he says the casino is going to change out their chips??? can someone explain???? What if say I go to Vegas and I win some chips do I have to cash them out before I leave or can I bring them home with me and then take them in and cash them at a later time????

@zw0ecool The casino will get rid of there chips if there is any suspicion that the chips have been compromised (i.e. stolen). They will start using new and different colored or patterned chips and the old will be cheap plastic. You can take them home with you, I do all the time, but I always make sure they are chips I have won and not what I have converted my monies too. I have some chips that are over a year old and they are just as good as gold. Good Luck :o)

@zw0ecool It is rare that they change them out. If someone pulls a gun and starts shooting and the table is spilled and mixed up beyond recognition, then that is compromised. They will watch the camera and try to harrass anyone that brings in a large amount of chips. Then, if they don't find who they suspect of stealing the chips, they make them null and void. Each chip has a dollar value on it and to tell you what it is. Yes Vegas is awesome!!! I go at least once a year, more if I can!!!!
