@MrFreddiebrandt A drum machine works just fine live,  you just gotta have a quality one. Also, people might have certain preconceptions of the "man-iPod-combo", which clearly shows on how people's statements on Buckethead.

But, technically, it is possible and works well. Of course other live musicians would always be nice.

Steve's awesome, and i used to be a huge (still really like him) but his vibrato wah pedal formula is pretty darn boring. It's the same all the time, maybe not like yngwie malmsteen but in the end steve ends in the same same patterns, sounds and effects as always. Cool shred from the bassist though :)
