direct tv is better.Years ago i had dish network and then one day when my sister was looking for disney channel IT WAS GONE!Disney channel ,bomerang,disneyXD was gone.Then my dad told me that dish network wanted $40.00 more for those channels then i was like WTF!

@patchbook That's right! There are a lot of DirecTV fanboys on these comments boards. They just say DirecTV is better, often without justification. They are completely ignoring the fact you stated here, and even saying DISH Network counts part-time channels as HD channels and DirecTV doesn't. Well, guess what? DirecTV ALSO counts part-time channels as HD channels, and most independent sources say DISH Network has more. There should be a channel exposing these facts. Who's with me?

@Abamlo Amen. DISH Network this year was rated higher in customer satisfaction than DirecTV. Also, DirecTV got an F rating from the BBB, and has around 3 times as many complaints as DISH, though they are almost equal in subscribers. Plus, DISH Network is the fastest-growing TV provider in America. So there you go DirecTV fanboys.
