A2 was not an unpredictable hand for him to have. He looks exactly like the kinda player who would call a raise (in a TERRIBLE position, SB) with just an A and low unsuited kicker.
The way i played this hand: call the big blind ... call all the bets(20% of the pot max) throw the river...and never call an all-in ..with a board like that
You even mention that hes a fish and not aware that fished usually go all-in when they hit a hand instead of trying to make a small bet to ensure that people call. There was a jack and a gutshot straight on the board. Still you call with TT? Id even be cautious of that flop there :p However its unlikely that anybody would have like 42 or 74, but there is also two hearts on the flop so it was a pretty bad flop for you so many draws that you would lose to.
This is why I think stat trackers are ridiculous on a big site where you don't usually play the same people unless you move to medium stakes or above...
Cash game - you're risking more per hand... watch the play and only use the stats for a general feeling of how they play
Tournaments - hand history is better since there are many "stages" of a tourney so you need to adapt to how play changes over time.
i dont get the turn bet u could make him lay his hand down there by betin about 1200..cause thats reasonable even if u put sb on a flush draw like he said u obviously wouldnt want him to complete the flush...
now about the river call i dont know if he reralized that str8 was completed with one card (2 or 7) so if u think back the guy raised 120 preflop and then called the reraise actually i believe its an easy laydown since he could have pocket sevens or ace 7 or ace 2 what he did have.
could someone tell me exactly which program this guy is using to see pot odds, everbodys names and their aggresion meter and pre flop raises by other people etc whats the name of the program?
And the program also show this thing called mzone that he is talking about, what exactly is it?
bad... i dont like the 3 bet pre, first to act so bad. people are going to be calling you in position with alot of hands 56 45 55 suited connectors, wide range. just put yourself in an awful spot, in the end you have to fold but you getting 5-1 so you cant, how could you think your good here...the bet 500 into 1900 pot is so bad too...for so many reasons
I cant say for sure, but if you put in a bigger bet on the turn he may have folded. As it was, he was getting a 5 to 1 on a call to either hit a 4, an ace, or a scare card like a heart. Don't get me wrong, I'm just playing fish's advocate.
3rd party software to play poker how sad is that. you're a fucking idiot with no skill. you use a PROGRAM to get a feel or a read thats fucking weak. im embarassed to watch this video.
Why did you not see how 4d could have helped him? If, as you believed, he was playing for hearts flush, why would he not be holding 2h or 7h? Also, he could have limped in with a low pair and hit trips on the flop, or he could have hit two pair at either the flop or the river (semi-bluff that still fucks a pair of 10s).
Abandoning the laws of probability on the strength of a Sharkscope rating makes you the fish in this instance.
@BigEricHunt trips on the flop? there is no possible trip situation on that board. if you try to "educate" people at poker, make sure you have a clue.
I understand you're a tourney player but I really think you should throw some cash games... I forgot about black friday already... Sorry you've got to get a job now.
Couldn't he have a hand like 54, 64, or 43 here? IDK maybe he'd push with those hands on the flop or on the turn. And I agree, shove the on the turn, or at least bet about half the pot and call a shove.
Shove turn. You have a pot sized bet left. The jack hits specifically AJhh, KJhh, QJhh, JThh, J9hh... that is 5 hands! And his range includes many worse made hands (some will call) and a ton of draws.
@TheFeyenoordSCF how does it ruin poker? it just tells u thing everyone can calculate themselves at any time but simply automatic instead of manually, if u take a paper, write down their names, and note whatever they do every hand, u have the same result. but it would take too long.
guy called the whole way, any high pocket pair has u beat and lower pocket pair has a set..... you can only beat a missed flush draw ..... bad way to play Tens
why do you guys call turtleknife and idiot for calling? where are your vids guys? hes reading was pretty damn accurate! Turtlekinfe had him till the river, although the call on the river is questionable at best. I don't see you guys being any better. So STFU!
he said from the bat he though he was going for a gut shot...he hit his gut shot, it just wasn't a flush. there was a 4 card straight down, and 1 over card, why would you call? and if you say because of his losing statistics you're an idiot, obviously if he has losing statistics he would be dumb enough to play a ridiculous hand like A2o that far for a gutshot. Title says it all, fish v, fish.
just unlucky I would have prob bet the turn more around 1460 but more then often his kind would have called that as well. that river is very hard open end situation.. tuff i would not been able to get away from river prob...so much invested depends on blind lvl and when they go up...if I had more then 30 big blinds prob could have folded...
Stack: largest 19910, smallest 600, average 5625 Your current position is 3 out of 12 Time bank balance is 11 seconds in 7 min blinds 100/200 ante 25 For more information see Tournament Lobby

You must be concentrated on the tablbe/players and read them. No stats do it better then you´re self. You said it that it was the begining of the tournament. All in? Offcourse he had an straight.
Bad call man. Only good stats are you reading abilities...
I lose 2 day's ago a hand similar to this one,2 top pair on flop, and the f.. idiot chase the straigh,I also believe that he chase the flush but it wasn't,200$ cost me that hand if he was in my face,I think I've been kill him!!
l2p stats dont make anyone a good or bad player its just a history of hands played any hand can be played along those guidelines or comletely different on any given hand
The only thing that should indicate that he had the checkmark was the fact that the other play called the pre-flop raise. Once the flop came, it destroyed the possibility of a strong starting hand winning. But after the straight draw hit the table and the other player insta-called his bet he should have grown suspicious and either pushed before the river, or checked it down. He had folding equity by the river. . . Should have talked himself out of it.
He totally talked himself into a bad call. Players like that may very well call crazy bets on draws, but seldomly do they push all in after missing it. His rational was screwy. A player that bad wouldn't have pushed all in that quickly had he missed, he should have folded-- well he should have pushed the turn, however after making that mistake he should have folded.
tghats some sick shit....people are idiots and tell me im bad because i don't have strong numberson shark scope...but no one checks those graphs....oh well
too many fish and donks in this game...they should ALWAYS lose
I actually thought he had J7 off suit since that is exactly what my opponent had the last time I was in this same situation against a donk who called a raise pre flop.
I think your thought process was ok, but I think you put him on a way to thin range. You convinced yourself that there were pretty much only flush draws in his range and you played the hand well if your read had been right. The small bet on the turn was a good line to leave him with money to bluff and indicates weakness so he is tempted to bluff the river.
did seem pretty obvious, donks LOVE messing around with A,rag. and chase seemingly impossible draws. but if your getting cold decked all game and you spot a donk raking all the chips with gutshots it does tend to get you off your game.
@hurny with the 6 on board it means that even if he hits his 4, his only card in play is a 2... therefore, any 7 beats him... most people would spot that its unlikely that your not gonna hit the 4, and even if you didnt it stil might not be good... and consequently would fold to the bet...
even the call preflop was questionable, hes probably dominated if he calls a raise with A2... that guy was a true fish
@hurny shut the hell up you stupid bitch, theres no way you can put him on a2 there, the guy calling with a2 just an absolute fucking donk, and a god awful player, and spiked a 4 outer for a gutshot dumbass. the last hand your putting him on there is a stupid gutshot a2 draw. its just a god awful player and its a small tiny buy in tournament so all the players suck ass and call down with garbage like this. how could you be that retarded to even possibly suggest he put him on a2 there. idiot.
@normenac we'd put him on A2 BECAUSE he is a fish, he could easily keep on calling with any 2 or 7 in his hand, or a 4. There is also the J on the turn which could easily beat the tens although it's not really is his range.
Could of folded the River but i understand you only had 1300 chips and given his crazy stats i don't think its that big of an error. In saying that it was an error but not a big one.
