After researching $cientology I immediately realised that $cientology is a cult but this has really broken it through to me. It's image as CULT is now absolutely solidified and complete in my mind. Child abuse is one of the staples of a proper, full-blown cult.

Isn't it funny how the Scientologists face off the protestors screaming "What are your crimes?" Seems that this is the normal thing in Scientology - screaming and belittling their own parisheners and not believing there is a gross misjustice happening under their noses. Hypocrisy right there. *scratches head*

I really appreciate this young lady's honesty and directness. So many people have said that they "woke up" after seeing things like this on the net. No telling how many lives she has saved through her testimony.

Scientology is shady, but I have trouble believing some of the things this girl is saying. She says she can't REMEMBER if any of the files said this pedophile had intercoarse with any of the girls? How can u not recall something like that? I don't know, maybe it's true but that just strikes me as unlikely.

@lauraleesmithagain If you actually think about it- she was only 14/15 when she came across these files and, although an adult would probably focus on any mention of actual rape, a child is less likely to when there are other, stranger and more exotic sounding things in the report. She remembers what struck and horrified her at the time. Plus the fact that she was living every day brainwashed, exhausted and malnourished. Her recall is going to be somewhat selective because of these things.

It is absolutely, 100% vital for Scientologists, especially higher-ups, to protect the cult. If the church would have gone to the police about Wally, the cops would have done an investigation and would have discovered all the stuff that was written up over the last months or years on him and in turn the church would have been held accountable for not speaking up after the first report. Not that they would ever go to an outside authority, even after a first report. It's very sad.
