@Tarheelfanhomie yes the board surface can be slippery ..take your boot and stomp it against your bindings where you can step on it without damaging the bindings and still get a better grip then a stomp pad "your boot will scratch up your topsheet? How so...you're boots should be made out of rubber not rocks/metal LMFAO..i never ever herd a board's topsheet destroyed by boots
my friend had the funniest accident coming off of the lift her board hade no stomp pad(it was a sucky rental) and her foot slid of she spun around an plopped onto my brother it was hilarious
@PuddleJumper27 I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, but hush hush cause some resorts and lifties may not like what I'm about to say.... Leashes are pretty pointless and nobody uses them. BUT the cord of the Boa boots is still exposed and it can be attached to that.
@1kingofutube the point of the leash is to catch the board if the binding fails
i remember last year
i was on the lift with my rented board and the binding snapped if it hadnt been for the lesah being attached to my boot it would have hit a little kid just learning D:

I hate it. Because in Alaska Its a law to have a leash

I just bought a Dakine leash, its the clear rubber/silicone one. How do you install that leash and whats the extra ring that comes with it?
DeejayAnthonyCee 4 months ago
@DeejayAnthonyCee its for you key chain.... Mount the leash to you binding and put the ring on your boots laces, then just clip it and rip it!

i like to tie a bag of bricks to my board when im on the lift then shake my binded foot vigorously so my board might have a chance of falling off (:

i just dont get what the leash is for what so ever
1kingofutube 2 years ago
It's pretty pointless but some resorts still require em.
thehouseboardshop 2 years ago
@1kingofutube its in case your foot comes out your binding on the cair lift so your board wont fall and kill someone :)
