I know when I went to NYC for James' portfolio, there were many black children who were also there aspiring to be models,actresses,and actors. I love NY! This is great. It's weird seeing all the people and equipment

and hearing the terminology they shout.

It takes about a full MINUTE to start shooting a scene after they start rolling.

They roll, they they start sound, they cue the

extras, they run around like crazy people and

somebody slaps that "Take" thingy. They shout ACTION. It's hard to tell exactly when they actually start shooting.

My cousin, Mona Lisa, that's her name for real was an extra in Hollywood. I did see her on Cheers. They were getting paid in the 80's $100. to be an extra. No lines and just walking by. Actually they'd been shooting for some time.

It took a while for me to get permission and a volunteer to take me down there.

Then I shot about 23 minutes of video.

Trimmed it down to 8.

That was an event that will most likely never repeat itself.
