  • where can i pick one like this up at and whats the average amount for one?

  • is it real or airsoft?

  • @xBarneyCalhounx

    ...real obviously...

  • epic weapon

  • do you know any one wanting sell or trade one like that? looking for a 8mm I reload for 8 mm too Don

  • thanks

  • yeah, that lamenated wood looks great when it's refinished

  • how long do you think the stock is gonna last?

Id like to keep the original one

  • I wish I had just one of these instead of 3 nagants. They are so accurate and well made like everything ever made in germany. My mosins look like they were never used, but all of the mausers look like they have been to hell and back.

  • @robertdihno

It's because the Russian capture K98's HAVE been to hell and back.

    lol

  • Very nice work...

  • nice only thing i would clean the bolt up

  • beautiful 5*

  • thanks

  • I've been looking for a Russian capture forever, where did you get it, a gun show?

  • How much?

  • not sure it was a gift

  • beautiful!

  • thanks

  • 5 *****

  • Russian? Mauser is a german rifle.

  • its a russian capture k98, it was captured by the Red Army during ww2 and was stored for later use

  • Ok, thanks! I didn't understand your words.

  • Since I haven't bothered to research it, I don't know from which firm the stock came from, but your stock is identical - minus the ugly cross bolt through the wrist - to the stock that's on my Russian Capture 42 1940. Kinda interesting. Of all the stocks I've gotten on Russian captures, I have to say it's the most beautiful variation. I'd like to find a few more with the same stock. ;-)

  • so greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat!!!!!! i like kar98k

  • so by "russian captured" that means that it was acctualy used? just trying to double check...

  • yepp

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • thanks

  • I like it...I want to hear it go bang. I need to work up some good pet loads for mine...I've been really tweaking my K31 Swiss lately. I have it under .5 MOA at 100 YARDS!

  • nice i havent put any hand loads through it yet but it shoots great with military ammo. Ive been tweeking my enfield i havent got it quit where i want it tho.

  • i cant wait that is gonna be the next rifle i get ive been looking at them online and the more i see them the more i want one where is the best place to get one?

  • Honestly Gunbroker is your bes bet if you want a beater. If you want a quality one try Samco...I think they still hae several VG graded ones. They run like $239 or so

  • Oh yea, I hate you! That thing is BEAUTIFUL!!

  • thanks

  • id say any where form $200 to $350 is a fair price for an k98 depending on condition and the markings

  • Very nice job! I just got my second k98 this week. What's the year and code on this one?

  • thanks

  • 1942 DUV

  • Very nice, looks to be in great condition !

  • thanks

  • Looks to be in pretty good shape, how's the barrel look inside? Did you de-cosmo it yet?

  • The barrel is execelent yea i de-cosmoed it. it wasnt that bad like the amout that was on my mosin nagants. my Yugo mauser had alot of cosmo on it.

  • Nice Kar98k.

  • thanks

  • How much? I'd love to get my hands on a germen K98K...

  • Im not sure it was a Christmas present

  • Did you you have to buy a cleaning rod? most RC K98s are missing there cleaning rods.

  • no it came with it i was really surprised :D

  • very nice rifle 5 star from sean in ireland cheers buddy

  • thanks

  • Nice! Looking forward to seeing it making noise!

  • thanks
