Next time you pay a visit to a doctor/surgeon just ask them to pray for you instead of doing their job.

in the church i used to go i'd see them in a mini skirts with wearing tonns of perfume...it seem they favour sin with their neakedness,probably men need to be blindfolded so that they wont commit adultery by looking at their nakedness

now you go and tell them...in church i have seen all kinds of clothing,

No drug don't always work 100% and indeed there are conditions that drugs have no effect at all - but at least science strives to develop new treatments through vigorous research & development.

As for prayer it has, at best, a placebo effect on those who use it.

You are utterly deluding yourselves if you think chanting away to the slave-master in the sky will cure serious diseases - can prayer make a leg grow back?

Any 'cures' attributed to prayer is the human auto-immune system at work.

There is a world of difference between acquiring knowledge in the classroom to finding out the REAL truth of the cosmos via CRITICAL thinking

Use knowledge gained from 'being top of the class' and you will see quite clearly the writings in a bronze aged book of myths are ridiculous ie they are incompetent with modern-day, free thinking society.

And If your friend becomes a doctor I would seriously they would use prayers of healing over powerful modern drugs to treat a child with leukemia.

@la2111 I do believe God has gifted people with intelligence and in Science and I would never put down the inventions and drugs that are saving lives. I praise God for that and I honor those people that have given their lives to help others in that way. But I know that there are cases where medicine and drugs fail - but I have seen prayer work - I have seen God come through. Can I always explain it - No (that's why they miracles) - do I believe it? Yes I do.

If a god did exist and he was the instigator of the big bang, i'm pretty sure he cares nothing of 'sin'. Only arrogant christians, muslims and jews claim to know the mind of god.

The atheist has the moral hand as we dont exactly gain comfort from our position i.e. we may wish it was true that god exists & watches us, but we cannot believe by faith alone...
