@hopcup1 Whether you like it or not the 300C is classed under luxury. I also had to pay a seperate luxury tax of 5k when I brought my car new in 2007 and all up with options ticked it cost 70k. I was clear to spend 280k on a car and the 300c was perfect and still is.

I used to get driven in a 600k bentley at work and comparing it with my 300c the only difference was my 300 was faster and the Bentley had a tray so I could put my newspaper on.

But you are welcome to your own opinion.

@ohnoes300c  LOL I'm sorry the 300c is a nice car but it is by NO MEANS a luxury car. It's made by Chrysler for gods sakes. Again they are nice cars but they are not a luxury car. And please, 70K, LOL, totally optioned out you MIGHT get to 50K with a 300C but not 70K sorry. Sure, you could throw 20K worth of after market mods on but from the factory...not a chance. Lastly, the fact that you think a 300c comes ANYWHERE NEAR in comparison to a Bentley shows you don't have a clue.

@Soulrider2012 your right, in america they are cheap as chips. Unfortunately I live in Aus and before on roads and taxes brand new its $59,000 back in 2007. Add on options plus on roads and luxury tax and its an extra $10k. The reason why new cars are more expensive than your second hand mobiles is you dont have to pay all the additionals. When they are shipped to australia they fall under the luxury category so the government charge an additional 5k on top of the price.

@Soulrider2012 its obvious from your comment you have never brought a brand new spanking new car over 50k. I use to get driven in a bentley when I was an I.T. manager, they arent even all that and the one I use to get driven in was $600,000. Bentleys are shit. If I had my way Id prefer to be driven in a Phantom. I was clear to spend 280k on a car and the most fuel efficient V8 in Aus is the Hemi 300c cause of its cylinder cut off. I spend only $20 extra on fuel over my V6 so for a V8 thats pro.

We cant even get Mustangs here cause the cars you guys call pontiacs (GTO) are built here. A 92 Honda Civic with a B16a cost $14,000 to give you an example and they are hell shit. Doesnt matter anyway, Porsche have released my perfect car. A V8 4door hatchback (perfect for Rockford fosgates or Alpine Type X) so I should have that in December 2011.
