We will get there in a couple more generations, we are a young country and 2 generatinos ago it was mainly Anglosaxons growing up here where as America & england are obviously older & have been multicultural for longer. Look at their government & news reporters etc compared to ours. Just takes time.

@mazin54321 Indians take the jobs Ausies don't want & get paid about $8 an hr as 20 hr work restriction is impossible to live on so they need cash in hand jobs to pay rent (when paying 5 times the amount that we pay for their studies) when they come here after being told they have to do their masters degree in engineering or I T to come on a visa.

They are poking fun, but not intending to anger people. I have a sense of humor. It's like Russel Peters. If you don't know who he is, look him up, he's hilarious. But his jokes are all based on stereotypes. Even white guys like me. And he's usually dead on. Funny as hell.

PS - I came across this as RW's skit was played on Aus Radio National & we all found it hilarious, espec. the half-truths of it all; many of his "facts" (on animals, sport, accents etc.) are wrong or only part right; it makes it even funnier for us. A lot of Australian comedy is based on making ourselves look like buffoons. It's a humour that Americans generally don't understand. Lastly, if you listen to Prime Minister Rudd's voice he clearly has a smirk - he finds it all rather funny too.
