Your talking about radio play? then yes they've gone down a bit. I mean OCs new single didn't have near the effect of 'FireFlies'. What happens it seems is these alternative bands (BLG,TheMaine,NSN etc.) get huge so early there evolution as an artist takes the back seat to meeting expectations of the label,radio. Their raw skills that made their original sound great Are altered some for the better, some for worse. Oh ya, just my opinion but A Rocket To The Moon> everyone
Personally, I LOVE Dirty Work. I really think it's a great album, plus it's really fun to dance to. And I don't think We The Kings or NSN has gotten worse. I like their new music, honestly. But that's just me(:

We The Kings album, in my opinion was great. Same with Dirty Work, absolutely LOVE Dirty Work. I went to the CD release in Baltimore for Dirty Work, and Went to a CD signing for WTK. I think the albums are both great. Yeah, it's not like their old albums but there maturing and changing around there sound to create something new.

I respectfully disagree about WTK. CYJ is probably their most popular song among casual listeners but maybe you shouldn't base the rest of their music on this one song? IMO, their best song is Secret Valentine but I also like SYLM.

i loved the secret valentine EP and some of the songs from smile kid were amazing. but, i couldn't force myself to listen to sunshine state of mind. i just don't like the direction that their sound is going in. nsn is kind of on a slight downward spiral unfortunately, but not so much that his music isn't enjoyable. and dirty work was definitely not the best atl album to date, but it was a hell of a step up from nothing personal. ps: bryan, you have a lovely singing voice ;)

I'm huge fan of WTK but I have to admit that they did lost their spark a bit. I have to say that in my opinion it's just the new album because I loved "Smile Kid". The one song that's in their new album that reminds me a bit of their older stuff is "kiss me last". In all, I still love 'em! :)

Saw We The Kings yesterday, greatest show I've ever seen. They put on one hell of a show. They played old stuff as well as knew stuff and Travis never stopped thanking the fans for getting them to where they are which I find incredibly sweet that he appreciates his fans. Their musics great, they seem like such great people, they make videos in their spare time to keep us entertained, I've been with WTK since Check Yes Juliet first came out and I'll be with them until they make their final album.
To each their own opinion so I'll share mine. WTK have had decent songs since Check Yes Juliet, and their fan base has certainly grown bigger since then.
For you; don't tell them to make better music because you don't like it. That's just ignorant and selfish. You may not like the new stuff, but that does not mean they have gone downhill. If anything, they are rising.

NSN is only getting better. Time travel and awful are sooo good.. He is experimenting. I love it. I don't think there is anything wrong with the bands... it's the fans. It's called growing up. When We The Kings first started they were into Simple Plan, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World & more. So they played that style of music because they were inspired by it. Now they play more beachy acoustic sounding stuff like the Zack Brown Band. Why? Because that's the music they are currently inspired by.
It's all a matter of growing up and playing what you're happy with.
I love WTK they are my favorite band and they have a new song on the radio called say you like me and nevershoutnever is awesome I still listen to their stuff but not as much as I listen to WTK -3
i don't think that WTK lost it, i still like their songs but i'm not obsessed with them or anything. my life is dedicated to all time low and you're right - dirty work was not their best album. i like so wrong it's right and put up or shut up better but they got older, they matured and so did their music and it's ok i think. they said that they're gonna take a break from writing with producers and that the new music kinda sounds like so wrong it's right, so i'm excited for that. they never fail.

I like never shout never new album, but i strongly dislike Dirty Work from all time low. Nothing Personal was my all time favorite album from them. There sound is just not as great anymore. i think we the kings are definitely not one hit wonders. they are a good band but their live shows are really what makes them amazing. they all have great personalities and the shows are just like a huge party. their music is just really fun and upbeat and i've never had anything bad to say about them. after meeting them all a few times you really appreciate them because they're just normal guys who love what they do. i'll always support wtk.
I agree 100% and WTK is my absolute favorite band. don't get me wrong i actually really like the new stuff just not as much as their original stuff. I refuse to listen to dirty work by ATL worst album ever created its up there with the likes of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. Like if you knew how much I hate TSwift you would understand that comparing the new album to her is far from a compliment.
It took me up to now to finally realize that. Maybe they are starting to take things more serious and maybe there sound will change for the next album. But every single album sounds different. I did something I have never done before. I listened to all the albums of all time low from Three Words to Remember to Dirty Work. I noticed that PUorSU and TPS are more rock and rolly but with NP an SWIR the lyrics are more relatable. Dont get me wrong The Party Scene is my favorite album. I'm just saying, yea ATL sounds more poppy now but there lyrics still speak to us and they are not selling out, there just trying to find a sound that fits them. It took me up to now to finally realize that.
I agree with We The Kings, All Time Low, and Never Shout Never. But its more of a surface thing. I dont like the any of the newer stuff of all those bands save the song Time Travek from NSN and Time Bomb from ATL. But someone out there likes it so thats all that matters.
Maybe the bands are experimenting and trying to find there sound or maybe their just trying to broaden there material by changing things up alittle. I'm sure they will come back with something great they just have to discover it for themselves first. It's trial and error. Their not afraid to try and change things up and I like that. Never Shout Never's new album is their best yet. There isn't a thing about bears sitting on people's faces. Never Shout Never has been the bomb since they started, and they still are. I saw We The Kings monday at an acoustic preformance and they were AMAZING. They haven't lost their spark.
Most of all, All Time Low has definately not started to suck. They're still just as amazing as they always have been. Dirty Work was something for them to try new things on. They're still the same band.c:

NSN is only getting better. Time travel and awful are sooo good.. He is experimenting. I love it. I don't think there is anything wrong with the bands... it's the fans. They "start to suck" because people have this unrealistic expectation that the music is about THEM (the fan). Take Showbread. My favorite. Every album is totally different from the next ON PURPOSE because they are growing with their talent. People love their screaming album best and give them shit, but the fans need to shove it.

Bands don't "loose it".
It's called growing up. When We The Kings first started they were into Simple Plan, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World & more. So they played that style of music because they were inspired by it. Now they play more beachy acoustic sounding stuff like the Zack Brown Band. Why? Because that's the music they are currently inspired by.
It's all a matter of growing up and playing what you're happy with.

i don't think that WTK lost it, i still like their songs but i'm not obsessed with them or anything. my life is dedicated to all time low and you're right - dirty work was not their best album. i like so wrong it's right and put up or shut up better but they got older, they matured and so did their music and it's ok i think. they said that they're gonna take a break from writing with producers and that the new music kinda sounds like so wrong it's right, so i'm excited for that. they never fail.

I like never shout never new album, but i strongly dislike Dirty Work from all time low. Nothing Personal was my all time favorite album from them. There sound is just not as great anymore. And i agree that we the kings we better a few years ago. My little brother rocks out to check yes juilet on hus paper jams guitar :)

i think we the kings are definitely not one hit wonders. they are a good band but their live shows are really what makes them amazing. they all have great personalities and the shows are just like a huge party. their music is just really fun and upbeat and i've never had anything bad to say about them. after meeting them all a few times you really appreciate them because they're just normal guys who love what they do. i'll always support wtk.

I agree 100% and WTK is my absolute favorite band. don't get me wrong i actually really like the new stuff just not as much as their original stuff. I refuse to listen to dirty work by ATL worst album ever created its up there with the likes of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. Like if you knew how much I hate TSwift you would understand that comparing the new album to her is far from a compliment.

I did something I have never done before. I listened to all the albums of all time low from Three Words to Remember to Dirty Work. I noticed that PUorSU and TPS are more rock and rolly but with NP an SWIR the lyrics are more relatable. Dont get me wrong The Party Scene is my favorite album. I'm just saying, yea ATL sounds more poppy now but there lyrics still speak to us and they are not selling out, there just trying to find a sound that fits them. It took me up to now to finally realize that.

I agree with We The Kings, All Time Low, and Never Shout Never. But its more of a surface thing. I dont like the any of the newer stuff of all those bands save the song Time Travek from NSN and Time Bomb from ATL. But someone out there likes it so thats all that matters.

Maybe the bands are experimenting and trying to find there sound or maybe their just trying to broaden there material by changing things up alittle. I'm sure they will come back with something great they just have to discover it for themselves first. It's trial and error. Their not afraid to try and change things up and I like that. Their not limiting themselves to just one sound. I think people just need to cut these bands alittle slack. Btw I <3 All Time Low and everything they have put out:)

Never Shout Never's new album is their best yet. There isn't a thing about bears sitting on people's faces. Never Shout Never has been the bomb since they started, and they still are. I saw We The Kings monday at an acoustic preformance and they were AMAZING. They haven't lost their spark.
Most of all, All Time Low has definately not started to suck. They're still just as amazing as they always have been. Dirty Work was something for them to try new things on. They're still the same band.c:

I'm not a We The Kings fan like at all but I will comment about All Time Low. Yes we ALL know it wasn't their best album and we know it's gonna get better again. Dirty Work was for sure an album solely to experiment with co writers which from the look of it they weren't that into it yet it was a great learning experience. Now to mention another band, Hot Chelle Rae. My friend and I started following them like DAYS before "Lovesick Electric" dropped and when it did we fell in love with them. Dif
