  • Being a Yanmega user I noticed two things.

1: yanmega with protect is better than detect and you should have detected that turn you were in with espeon to become faster with speed boost.

  • that milotic was beautiful!!!

  • Why didn't Espeon's synchronize put Roserade to sleep?

  • You know what? That's a really good observation. I didn't even notice that.

Has anyone else had something like this happen? I'm pretty sure that Synchronize applies to sleep as well, and Natural Cure doesn't block status...

  • I use an Espeon as well for my wifi battles, and I always use it against stauts inflicters such as Togekiss or Umbreon, so that's why I noticed it, but every time my Espeon has been statused it always synchronizes the opponent pokemon as well.

  • Synchro dosen't pass sleep. only paralyze, poison, and burn.

  • STAB boosts the power of moves of your own type eg. fighting if you know it. Lets say azumarill new waterfall, then instead of 80 power, it goes to 120. Thats what STAB is

  • at o1:42 it looked like yanmega was dodging psychic

you should replace yanmegas hypnosis with double team

what does STAB stand for anyway

  • actually it wud be better to replace sludge bomb with synthesis so the sun will be ur game

  • Roserade will be UNSTOPPABLE if you use this move set:

    -Sunny day(very impotant, u'll see)

-Weather ball(the power doubles to 100 if sunny day is in effect and it becomes a fire type move)

-Solarbeam(due to sunnyday you wud not need to charge for a turn and extra power due to grass traits)

-Slugeboom(extra power due to poison traits)

  • Good battle

  • Huh...I don't know why you just didn't use sleep powder the first turn...

  • Well gee, maybe because it has a brilliant 75% accuracy and Roserade is weak is Espeon's STAB? :o

  • Chill, just making a comment. And 75% is pretty high.

  • Yeah, just not high enough when you'll get OHKO'd by a super effective move if you miss...

  • That was odd, seeing the other guy switch Umbreon out to a badly hurt Espeon. That was a humongous risk on his part that backfired.

  • Good battle, I love watching good American trainers fight good Japanese trainers.
