  • Ah stop all the race shit, if this video read "Sweden-The country with the best music...Watch this!" you all wouldn't be saying shit about race. Just like it for what it is, talent!

  • jeez!!! they are not dancing they are figting

  • i dont understand racist people, i mean, they always thought that black people r bad and idiots, but actually its the opposite, black people has always been better on everything, they r quicker learners on dancing, they shake their booty better, they have the most powerful and beutiful voices THEY LOOK BETTER, have the chilliest attitude ever, barack obama...

  • I'm not sure it's "the best music" but when you get it to the level of a Johnny Clegg it's damn near the best.

  • I am a White South African and it is time we try to forget the past and what we whites did, Black and White we are all South Africans so lets build it together and make it a proud Country for all.

  • Hey dude, the emphasising is in YOUR mind, not the whitey's. You missed the point he made completely. Apply Bob's advice yourself, please?

  • WOW!...Looking at this remember me of my people in the US, my people are Native Cherokee and Comanche Indian. Of course there are other Native Indians attend the PowWow and there are White people participate in our Native dance so I sense it's the same feeling but a little odd. Black Aricans fight for you land you seen what happen to mine , we didnt think a human could be evil and now we are force to share our land with the evil one and dont let slavery happen again...fight fight fight

  • @QueenEiliYAH if only white ppl would open their eyes and realize who they are. they left their real culture and went to practise cavemanship and baberianism. i live in europe and almost every white person i ve come across doesnt like western society in general and they r not proud of it. that is a huge inferiority complex. little do they kno that all african americans have native blood since we got to the americas before them. many ppl dont kno this. natives r alive, they just dont kno it yet

  • @smukase so makes me wonder? how did you get to america ? by yourself? nah . aint thinking so. it must have been a dumb ass white man who did not know of better? he should have left you in africa where the culture is still to take but not to progress and make something of it. Why do u darker people of the world always have to bring in racism into your conversations? why ? why? why? we do realise who we are. we are the ones who bail out you guys when you f*ck up not if....when

  • @45ett lol i m not a racist for disliking europeans becuz of their crazy mentality. i apologize if i offended u in any way, i didnt mean to. instead i was implying how white ppl are our kin and should just return to their senses. i mean hallo?! wud u rather learn nordic history from a swedish guy or from a thai? common sense. so why do u assume everything u ve been taught about africa in ur schools is true? well dont break ur ignorant head over it, it s ok. God will be the ultimate judge

  • I come fromt there. I agree.

  • you're an idiot if you think the white guy shouldn't be there.. grow up! there are black people in the US, is that weird? fuck no! SOuth Africa went through colonialism from the British and that's why white people are there, but there are different ethnicities everywhere! it has no effect on a person living in south africa (despite race) that calls that place his home!

  • @Remnant321

I get your point but that was a horrible example.

1st group of blacks in America didn't get here BY CHOICE

1st group of whites in Africa especially S.A went there by choice, to rule, enslave & destroy.

Even today, a lot of whites in S.A are still filled w/hate & want to oppress the black ones in every way possible. So the comparison doesn't tally...at the end of the day, I see the point you are trying to make O_O

  • AMAZING! LOVE YOU SOUTH AFRICA..ALWAYS MY HOME!

  • people originated from Africa. so what if the guy is white in the video. Everyone originated from there..don't believe me then look it up :)I love africa and hope to go there this year :)

  • im half african half canadn

  • The "white guy" is Johnny Clegg

  • @worldofjords1234 Yes, it is probably Johnny Clegg... I believe most [if not all] white people like Johnny C would pick up the rhythm naturally if raised within African culture... We are all African, and yes, this Canadian totally believes the DNA scientist who say we ALL come from Africa ...and that we are ALL African. Racism is for insecure idiots!!! How can we not be proud to have descended from beautiful Africa.

  • ach, jungs aus De? Bin ziemlich einsam wer hat lust zu schreibn

  • i love being nubian. man i can feel the energy!!!!

  • this is beautiful thanks for uploading

  • you keep emphasisin the white dude so what. i mean no disrespect but in 2010 and if you still assume that white folks are gods then you have a problem. like bob marley said free yourself from mental slavery non but yourself can free your mind. wake up thats all. just wake up. regardeless of which part of africa you come from you are one pple. remember once upon a time there were no boarders. expand your thinkin capacity and stop lookin at things from a narrow marginal point of view. peace.

  • @wadza122 ... u're a real african man, in few word u've shown not only how clever and leborated u R but at the same time reflecting african clean and pure minded people they're

  • @wadza122 Oh, dear. You do not get it. The South African dancers (the Africans) are so very good that it is amazing that a white dude can compete. That is the point. It is not racism, it is his ability to keep up!!!

  • word

  • my dad does that but it is a little different from SA

  • is the white dude you mention real white or a Coloured???

  • Was the white adopted?

  • @SunofVich Does it really matter??? I am proud as a South African that we are comprised of many peoples. We are, as Nelson Mandela said very correctly, a "Rainbow Nation". Black, White Coloured, Malay, Indian....does it really make a bloody difference? You Americans gotta get over the Black/white thing....at least we are trying in South Africa!!!

  • @priscamolotsi I am an American and I have been all around the world with the military and I have seen man's inhumanity to his fellow man because of race, religon, or other petty things and the one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty is that love is better than hate and we are all children of the same God no matter what color our skin is..............AND good music is good music no matter where it comes from................God bless you all.

  • @danedaddy65 AMEN!!danedaddy65!!! I wish more people thought like you. God Bless you, too, my brother!!

  • @priscamolotsi Hello my brother, I hope you are well. One of my favorite songs is by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The song is called Let's face it. It is a wonderful anti-racism song. WE WON'T TOLERATE HATRED. If you have any musical suggestions for me please let me know. I LOVE music. God Bless you..... Dan

  • @danedaddy65 Hey Dan.....I'm actually your "Sister"!!! But thanks for the great answer. I'm going to check out the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, thanks for the suggestion. I LOVE music too, it's my life!!! I have loads of suggestions for you, (start by listening to my songs, ha! ha!) If you are on face book, please send me a message and an invite to be your friend, I'll accept readily. It's wonderful to have non-racist friends!!!

    Prisca

  • @danedaddy65. BRAVO. WELL SAID.

  • @priscamolotsi please tell them! South Africa for all who live in it and we are making major strides in SA for sure. Yeah, I am black and it took living outside SA to realise how much every single SAfrican no matter what color means to me! Ja sure we have problems within the country but out here I am damn protective of my white/all colors SAfricans..a strong beautiful feeling that even suprised myself. Go white zulu boy dance your heart out!

  • @Modipadi100 eish i feel your pain its it takes living abroad to realize how powerful we are a nation

  • I am a white South African and yes although I don't sing or make the music this is my culture, part of who I am , ingrained into my soul and I am very proud to be South African

  • @ebbyeryan uhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @ebbyeryan Boer Please! You are murdering scum -- that is what is ingrained in your soul!

  • south Africa focus of the world 2010 FIFA host. wat a dance. love Zulu films n Sarafina too

  • gum boots! africa is so amazing.. seeing theese videos make me just so absolutely proud to be part african

  • @iloveredsox7020

We're all part African. Nothing to be proud of. You can be proud to have recent African ancestors though.

  • @Quintinohthree

    which i do have

  • @iloveredsox7020

    which i do have

  • lol.... stop arguin to my african friends dont argue we dont need to prove anything to any1 we are in our homeland and to my black american friends im sorry for wat my fellow african say but u cum into america and tell people your music is best thats why theres racism towards u becoz america is not classed as your country:)

  • que chevere de veras que vacan que el mundial sea en sudafrica lo mejor para uds

  • oh my goodness this reminded me of ipi ntombi, loved it! i'm from west Africa but i love south Africans and their marvelous voices!

    God bless Africa!

  • Your story is low level

  • am kenyan bt damn i enjoy ths shyt africa 4eva, zulus were the 1st steppers

  • You post this like you know something about south Africa...did you know that white people come from there, you don't HAVE to be black to be from Africa, act like you've seen a white person before.

  • @warofrazors999 the white people in south africa is not from africa, they are from holland mostly. they invaded and took the country with violence and racism. YOU should be ASHAMED to even say that white people in africa are africans.

  • @CassidyOG

White people in South Africa speaking Afrikaans are Afrikaners not Africans. Most of them have at least one recent African ancestor and all humans have at least two African ancestors many millennia ago from whom we all descend. You are the one to be ashamed. Do you think all non Dutch should leave Holland and the rest of the Netherlands (Holland are two provinces Geitverdomme) at this very moment? Racists of any race are inferior to all they consider inferior.

  • @CassidyOG Study ALL African History and you'll find it's one of constant WAR and Slavery....Long before the white man EVER arrived, African tribes and 'nations' destroyed and enslaved ONE ANOTHER!!! So Who belongs where? You're comment is Racist...It assumes Black Africans are one people. They are as diverse and individual as any White race!!!!

  • @jimdivax

That is wrong. African history is not of "constant" was and slavery. Ancient Egypt has long periods of peace. Mali and Ghana had long periods of peace. African people mix and marry with one another muc more than than have waged war against one another.

Don't try to simplify to suit your agenda. A white boy dancing with Zulus does not cure the economic imbalance that is still there. White people are not as friendly when it comes to sharing money as they are with music.

  • Some of their moves resemle black fraternity step show moves. I love it when it's just drums, voices, dancing, and hand clapping/tapping.

  • @dkland1980 Our music sound nothing like African music. Why have Black American created more genres of music than Africans?Since you said we got our music from Africa.

  • @BLACKNBIG1: I couldn't have said it better. You never find Blacks/AA trying to sing nor portray(mimic) any type of entertainment performance like Africans. However, you can always find some Africans trying to imitate us. By the way, Blacks/AA set trends, we don't follow them. There are too many knock off versions of us. However, I don't worry because they can't and never will compare to the originals(Blacks/AA).

  • @landfair03 y are u arguing about whos best africans/african americans ?? theres no need we dont try to compare to u we just do wats best for OUR country we live in our homeland and we try to keep our culture alive we have tribes just like the natives>>

  • @Theblackbarbie698: First of all, I'm not arguing anything, I'm only stating facts. Futhermore, I've read too many negative comments on too many videos where Africans are bashing AA. Therefore, I'm only stating facts so that Africans can see that we're totally different (original and unique) from the way they try and portray us.

  • @BLACKNBIG1 : The foundation to African American beats can be traced back to Africa. Some people say for instance that alot of the beats and dance moves that are in hip hop, rap, etc came from the church. Well if you look a step further, a lot of that came from slaves who brought it over from Africa. If you've ever gone to a black church and seen someone catch the Holy Ghost, sometimes people will form circle around them while they praise God.

  • cont'd: @BLACKNBIG1 That can be traced back to ring shouts that Africans brought over.

Of course over time things are changed by adding or subtracting.......

  • I'm not trying to argue who is the best between Africans and Black Americans.I'm just simply saying don't get history twisted. Black Americans can be Imitated but never Duplicated.

  • it's funny that people always bad mouth Gangsta Rap when they talk about Black American culture.Yet it is still a million dollar music industry and most Black Americans do not by the cds'.There is more violence in the movies than in Gangsta Rap but you don't here people bad mouthing the Movie Industry because it is dominated by whites.

  • Black Americans only make up 12% of the USA yet our music and culture are admired around the world. We can be immitated but never ever duplicated LOL.

  • Your ignorance is astounding, especially for someone whose ancestors went through so much turmoil, you of all people should be humble. Black Americans may birthed and given this world some of the greatest music in the world, but your brothers are doing a fine and sturdy effort to undo all of it. Look at this 50 cent, T-Pain rubish your country spews out at an unfathomable rate. Furthermore black Americans have little to no culture anymore the entire country is a giant ethnic melting pot.

  • @Ins0mniya You know nothing about Black American culture. All the music, dances, soul food,a lot of the clothing styles came from my people. The reason it seems like Black Americans don't have a culture is because the whole dam world are imitating our culture. The way we act.talk,walk.look and etc.

  • @BLACKNBIG1, No not really something I would agree with, I don't see the whole world walking around degrading the English language, killing each other, selling drugs, singing about sex violence etc... Your culture has been cased into a neat little package and sold in minor portions around the world, you probably have no traditional practices whatsoever.

  • @Ins0mniya I thought you had some common sense but now I can see you are just another retard. They sell drugs and kill each other in Mexico,South America,PUerto Rico and don't forget your beloved Africa that is well known for genocide.Have you ever heard of the Nigerian drug trade?

  • @Ins0mniya They sell drugs and kill each other in Russia need I go on.White people sing about sex and drugs in Rock&Roll and in Heavy Metal.Drugs and prostitution is in every town around the world.Africa is well known for child rape. Some countries in Europe prostitution is legal.

  • @Ins0mniya The reason rappers rap about sex and violence is because the world is full of it.The main reason they rap about it is because everyone with a brain know that sex and violence sell, that is why rap is still a million dollar business because people love to hear about it.Black Americans stay in touch with the real problems of the world and everyone else are hypocrites and fake about world problems.

  • @Ins0mniya Oh about the English language we are changing our language everyday.Unlike other people languages the American language can evolve. The reason it does not seem like we keep our traditions is because we are to busy creating other things.Thank God Black Americans are creators and not followers that's the reason we had and have a lot of scientists.

  • @Ins0mniya I would've mention something about New Zealand but no one knows anything about the country accept it's in Australia and kangaroos live there lol.

  • After the Africans sold my ancestors and they stepped foot on American soil they was no longer African.

  • Do not get history twisted.Gospel, blues, jazz was not started in Africa but in America.Stop trying to take credit for our culture.

  • I agree with lighteningjak, most music originated from african music.. even all the way up to death metal (yuck).. but music such as blues, gospel, jazz all started from the african slaves.. so really, all american music is is african music being copied.. over and over and over and over and over and over and over... and over again

  • all american music is african you just copy it

    and mix it

  • South African music is good but it's not the country with the best music.Only the USA can claim that title.

  • @BLACKNBIG1 Hey let me tell you something. In Africa people were already partying when your ancestors realized that fire existed. So shush, please. :)

  • @iqdodge I"m a Black American so that means that my ancestors came from Africa.I like African music but no one can beat the Black Americans making music.

  • @BLACKNBIG1 You can not be serious. Im black Amercican as well. Alot of our beats and rythym (spelling?) come from Africa. Even gathering around someone at church who is shouting can be traced back to African tribes and rituals.

  • @BLACKNBIG1 Watch the documentary on the dance move 'clowning/crumping' and they will compare it to African triabal moves and these groups had no idea of each other existence. Yes, American black rap, gospel, jazz, etc, etc have created their own signature but the 'originality' of it goes back to Africa. Have u noticed that some of their moves in this video resemble f

  • Comment removed

  • @BLACKNBIG1 You ARE SO RIGHT! Makes up for them never inventing anything

  • i cant really hear!!!!

  • oh wait-there goes a purple man,oh hang on she's blue,oh wait but he's looking kinda green with yellow dots and that woman is looking kinda grey!! what the @!#%* Do some of you need a hard pinch/ a kick up the backside etc.. to wake UP!! you see the colour of someone, then you don't see and feel the LOVE!!! Get that into your heads and hearts...

  • wow guys n girls-still so much hatred by the sounds of things! such a shame :'' ( shame on you all that can't simply acknowledge and appreciate uniqueness.

  • stop this white n black crap man. its fckn 2010. Why cant we just live and learn from our past mistakes.... God made us as 1.

  • Certainly, South Africa has a great and wonderful musical tradition. Compelling even to the occasional "white dude" (like Johnny Clegg, too). I wish there were more people like that willing to cross over between cultural traditions. I wish we (here in the US) had African-American figure skaters at the Olympics, for example. We are such a diverse country.

  • A white dude, so what? Ther is lots of whie Africans to..

  • What's all the excitement about the white ou in the mix. Such people have always been around in SA, in small numbers, true, but who never gave a damn for the apartheid attempt at ( and their own people's disapproval of ) crossing... they were and largely continue to be despised by narrow minded whites as kaffirboeties. Why point them out as if they were freaks? Accept that they always existed, still do, and always will.

  • love me some white dude with soul

  • Pointing someone out in the video who happens to be white is really unnecessary. What exactly are you trying to tell us by pointing him out?

  • @lanmanamel

that they stick there nose every where.

  • white dude with soul and rhythm

  • ikhaya mnandi ikhaya

  • I love South africa its my home where I was born, when the murder rate drops from 25 000 murders a year I would love to be able to go home

  • umm im there looking into latin america 2, and i dont have a problem with it at all since im latino. im interested in the whole world 2. every1 is...its just u that wants to stay monocultured.

  • @benallio

benallio perhaps you should have been brve enough to hit reply.

2 months have passed sense your reply and i just now see it because someone else hit reply. what kind of man are you?

anyway there is no problem with latino they have not claimed they did something that africans have started.

  • i dont have a problem experiencing my people and our culture but i do not want to experience the white guy.

Im not being racist (though i am sure it will be perceived that way) but why is it everywhere you look white people are sticking there nose everywhere from africa to japan to the middle east. Can we please have our culture please.

I go to capoeira class their they r i go to hip hop class there there again i mean nothing against them but please at least let us have our culture.

  • because some people are open minden and willing to learn from other people and other people's cultures?

or some people just like this music, and like to participate in such nice thing?

you dont haffi dreads to be rasta, and you dont have to be black to play basketball...

    so, wots the prob?

  • like i said no offense.

well you do know who started rasta right? Africans

my point was we start a lot of stuff but so many whites start doing in and the next thing you know they say they started it or it started at the same time. its like we are constantly losing culture. And i really am not making this stuff up its a fact. But like i said nothing against whites but we have to keep our culture.

  • When it comes to culture, Africa is the beginning to the end. It is from all borders of Africa, that anyone interested in culture, will get their teachings from all of Africa, all over the world. You're not racist, "I agree", but I believe you should take the time to read back as far as literature can take you, and understand how Africa (past, present, and future), is still leading the way.

  • Well Dkns8Rndm.....I'm now with you on the culture issue. On 10-28-'09 I saw an INTEL commercial, that is a clear sign of disrespect towards the cultural level of unity between Black/African Amer. Men, and how originality is violated. The advertisers have taken at least 6 different handshake moves, programmed them into the laptop that controls a robotic arm. Programmed the bright white w/black trim robot arm to shake hands with a white man. "Now I'm Pissed-Off".

  • yep all my bro & sis see it sooner or later.

is there something i can type in to see the commercial u r talking about?

  • I wonder if you know that all people pretty much orginated in Africa and Asia? But I kinda agree, Americans(not white people in general) think it's about us and all that...that's why I hate America's history taught in schools.

  • yes i am well aware that africa is the cradle of life.

Still that does not mean they have a right to be there in every part of our culture and yes there is a difference. we were the parents of the other races but kids go off and do there own things. everyone has there own culture so they should stick to it. Like i said everywhere i go from my capoeira class to my hip hop class to everything that was created by us. My prob with that is once so many whites start doing it they say they created it.

  • Comment removed

  • @jiminycricket25

    I am not your friend.

You can call me racist that just means you do not know what it means.

I am speaking english because the world knows this language the best.

It was provin the Boxing was already in Africa before you people came to the light.

Despite all of that since it is like you can not comprehend i will repeat. My biggest problem with whites doing things we started is eventually they.you lie and say you all started it. there is a lot blacks did & u dont have a clue.

  • Comment removed

  • its a fact that blacks did a lot but most euro would never admit it, so we had to start doing our own research and proving them wrong. At first whites were calling us less then humans and they were saying they were the first humans both have been proven wrong...and yet they still look for more things to take. you will have to excuse if i am defensive about this but i do not see my position changing on it. last thing we need is more to be stolen from us.

  • Huh...I completely forgot I even said anything on this....But yeah, he is right.

  • @DeathHasNoEnd

    what are you speaking of?

    who is right?

I will have you know what i have said on this page is fact.

  • why is there a issue with the white guy south africa is technically a equal in theory now so what is the point then philani 10? clearly you still have issues regarding equality in south africa still which is sad

  • you know what...then dont watch it. AND, if you dont like it some much why did you watch it, anyway?

  • I DO like the "Planet of the Apes" movie series & this video reminds me of it. This video makes me laugh. Laughing is good; you should try it some time.

  • And you should try not being a racist. That's a little too caveman for this day and age.

Take your poor sense of humor somewhere else.

  • What an insult! The cavemen were not racist!

  • Oh my goodness. will you please just go away!
