Actually, paganism in general existed long before Christianity....Wicca as we know it today was "invented" by Gardner but the origins of the religion date back. When you think about it, everything started from some sort of paganism.....animalism (prehistoric ages), totems are the example for that, the ancient egyptians and greeks ect. All that before Christianity....all pagan.

Christianity has only taken bits and pieces from history and combined inot a religion.

But thanks JESUS CHIRST who was the only sinnless soul and who took the punishment for our sins GOD can forgive us for our sins. All you have to do is accept that JESUS paid the price for your sins.
