It's because she had no support from her Manager Matthew Knowles (Beyonce's dad & manager) and in turn her Label didn't really get pushed enough to create good material and bring in well known producers like what happened with Beyonce. It's what most artists do. She didnt do it as much as you think she did though. It's called a backing track. We learned that in Artist & Repretoire. Artists who dance while singing uses a backing track to continue while they perform but they do chime in from time to time. And if u listen closely Kelly sang that song. The backing track just made it seem like she was lip-synching. Plus the timing was a il off too...kinda like a movie when the person's mouth moves before/after the words.

Come one people, you can clearly tell that the verses weren't live. It sounds just like the album version where she comes in before she's done singing the previous line. And why would the verses be the only thing that sound exactly the same? She sang the hook and the chorus ad libs live, just not the verses. It's not like it killed her performance... She still tore up the stage.

It's because she had no support from her Manager Matthew Knowles (Beyonce's dad & manager) and in turn her Label didn't really get pushed enough to create good material and bring in well known producers like what happened with Beyonce. Lets just hope she now signs with someone who will support her so that her talent can be revealed (both vocally and in terms of making good music that people will buy in America!)

Actually you're both right. It's called patching. She did some of the verse live and some was prerecorded and then she also did the ad-libs. You should view her live performance of Love Takes Over this new song that just came out. She sings the entire thing live and she KILLS!!!! Its on here. I've added it to my playlist called Now THATS Singing! She was probably bland at first but now she comin for that ass yall. Real talk.

Well either way, i've seen her live performances and think she's done them well...... she has a song called "love takes over" and she performed it live and sounded great.....with others....so i guess it's just depends on what you like to hear cause she sounds good to me.....either way were both fans and that's all that matters

It's what most artists do. She didnt do it as much as you think she did though. It's called a backing track. We learned that in Artist & Repretoire. Artists who dance while singing uses a backing track to continue while they perform but they do chime in from time to time. And if u listen closely Kelly sang that song. The backing track just made it seem like she was lip-synching. Plus the timing was a il off too...kinda like a movie when the person's mouth moves before/after the words.

But I'll give it to her...she IS talented as hell but yea I think Kelly can get Beyonce too if she had the confidence and hunger that Beyonce has.
