TheFleshStorm, metallica has most definitely ripped off stuff from other bands, the Master of Puppets riff is pretty much a rip off of Overkill - Elimination.

Overall, it's not a terrible cover, but trivium has definitely done better. Still I enjoyed it, Fan of both Trivium and Metallica.

lars is the shitiest drummer ever..lars himself said that travis is better...and trujillo is better than paolo...trujillo plays faster with his fingers than paolo does with a pick. james hetfeil is not a technically proficient rythm player...if you see him live you can tell he uses only down strokes. kirk hammet uses only pentatonic scales in his soloing and isnt as dynamic as corey.
