I have seen this Rigoletto performance on TV several weeks ago, and i was very impressed by her, she had some incredibly beautiful moments, especially in the 1st act duet with the Duke, and in the final duet with Rigoletto. The stage design was very poor though, as often nowadays.

La voz perfecta para la Gilda, como un pajarito ingenuo que canta sin imaginarse lo que le espera Me parece muy buena en ese rol , voz,interpretacion y un montaje moderno aceptable.Me gustaria que pusieran otras partes del montaje si fuera posible para juzgarla en un todo. Bravo Iride!!!!

I love this singer! She is connected to every moment in the music (and inbetween). A simple, natural actress, while still being "operatic." The way she leans against the wall or smiles with her eyes, the moment she lets down her hair or holds up her arm. She transports you into Gilda's dreamy state of mind, on an empty stage! Her voice is just right: good size and technique, lovely tone, color and range, excellent phrasing. Martinez is a remarkable performer.

Nice. Not great, but nice. And better than Futral or Esham. I like the way her arpeggio just before the reprise bubbles up to the high note. I think in a small opera house and live, she's probably pretty good. She needs a trill, though.
