  • most of Taiwanese can speaking more then one language, can you??

  • yeh his english skill wasn't too satisfying as people in this kind of position... but who cares? he is still makeing 50 billions every yr . whatup sucker

What a shame on you!

  • The Dutch occupied Taiwan for 20 years more than 300 years ago. Whoever could speak Dutch were all dead. Japan occupied Taiwan for 50 years until 20th century. That's why a lot of older people in Taiwan still can speak Japanese. Hong Kong was back to China in 1997. The British influence will take some time to diminish. In terms of Singapore, English is one of this country's official languages. They ought to be good at it. Understand now?

  • Thanks for the input.

  • What about "Japanese or Dutch"? You can use Chinese if you want to. It's hard to understand what you try to say.

  • It's common that English would be good in Singapore and Hongkong because of their colony history.

Is it common that both Dutch and Japanese are good in Taiwan because of its colony history?

I hope you understand this logical thinking.

  • Of course, if you speak English in public, people won't give a damn because you are nobody. If Bill Gates speaks Chinese in a event or new conference, people sure will pay attention, isn't it? Who cares about Singapore or Hong Kong? They both were British colonies. Just like Taiwan, lots of people speak Japanese fluently. So don't exaggerate this episode. We know your English is better than 郭台銘.

  • Right !

Why not Japanese or Dutch in Taiwan !

In Singapore and Hong Kong, people speak English in public ALL the time. Why they don't have "News Value" ? but only in Taiwan ? ? ?

  • because we don't speak English as official language as them. google it before you bark....

  • People don't have to google to express opinion, as it is common sense that local Taiwanese don't speak English well.

  • then your opinion of comparing Taiwanese's English level with those countries that use English as official language is absurd if you even knew Taiwan doesn't speak English as official language.

! !"? Ask anyone from those countries that don't use English as official language to see how well they can speak? To see if they will laugh of loud like you? It doesn't make sense to compare two things in different conditions. What I feel more hilarious and funnier is the heavy English accent from Singaporean and Indian. I suggest you to ponder over your logic before you express your nonsense opinion then.

  • Yes ! "笑 死 世 界 人 民 ! ! !"?

The news reporting only "自 暴 其 醜" that local Taiwanese don't speak the world language well.
