@bluesun267 no in the first episode it is mentioned that Mr. Brady is widowed--nothing is ever said about carol's husband. Shewrwood Schwartz said, in the Brady bunch Book, carol could have been divorced. he specifically never said waht happened ot the girls' father

No, Retro is right. Seasons 3 and 5 had the same version of the theme song. Season 4 was different. This video has been overdubbed with the Season 3&5 version.
That is because she didn't start wearing glasses on the "show" until about midway through the third season. If the opening would've run at the beginning of Season 3, it would've been a dead give away to the audience that Jan would be wearing glasses, it was just a matter of when the eps would air.
Maybe Eve Plumb was wearing contacts? Either way, she looked HOT in season 5 but not as HOT as Maureen McCormick. As part of my vidoes, I have the clip of Eve Plumb saying the "F" word on a game show. Check it out!

I think they kept it the same for Season 3 and 4, and tweaked it some for Season 5, which as we all know, was the last season.

@xraffle Season 4 had Eve Plumb singing the female lead more than Maureen, and the instruments were more modern for 1972.
