Why are there people who keep saying Sarah lip-synched every time she performed excellently? Okay, if even she did actually in this performance, it doesn't matter because she had sung live before and still could have hit the last notes nicely.

As far as the Phantom of the Opera shows go, there is lip syncing on one song and that is the title song, Phantom of the Opera, because of the need for three different Phantoms and Christines and because of where they have to be, for example, in the boats during part of the song. Each Phantom and Christine record the song with their voices and they do sing with their mikes off. Everything else in the show is live.

@JohnFalocco Um....no it's not...Where do people get this info? It's like by saying that, she's not as talented as she is. But it's her. I've been to the touring cast Phantom in Tulsa, Ok. I watched it 6 times in 4 days. And every time it was different. It's not lipsynched at all. So sorry to disappoint. That's why everyone can't get the role of Christine.
