Hi there, it is actually not weed but Tajweed. Tajweed consists of a set of rules that would be applied when reading the Quran. The aim of Tajweed is to allow the reader of the Quran to read it in exactly the same way that was read by prophet Mohammed more than 1400 years ago!. The Quran therefore is not only preserved by Text but also in the way it was read. Regards
