I just think the camera sits on him too long. Leslie never plays anything the same way twice, so Rev and Corky are trying to follow him (which on a stage with 120db volume levels is not easy I can tell you).
I think Rev is a great bass player. He has played with a lot of other top-notch Metal bands including Michael Schenker. He's a hell of a lot better than Richie Scarlet or Randy Coven. That said, if I had the gig I would use a vintage Gibson EB-0 bass and Sunn amps and try a lot harder to replicate the original Felix parts as closely as possible. They were an important part of the sound and subsequent bassists haven't treated them with the proper respect, IMHO.
You kids whining about the bassist should actually listen a bit more carefully. Rev Jones has played with some of the best, including Michael Schenker, Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, and of course Leslie West. They wouldn't use him if he were a hack. Don't get distracted by the propeller hair thing.

West's guitar playing is still top notch when he gets into it. Kind of sad to see him on the same stage with that cretin bass player. I can only imagine he is a relative, else why would he be there?
