@mark224 I don't have an exact figure but a rough estimate of about $12-14,000 is about right. This includes two rooms not shown in the video, one is a bedroom and the other a gym. But it doesn't include the home theatre equipment, furniture or the bathroom. The bathroom itself was about $3,000. Labour costs FAR outway materials so do everything that you can yourself.

hi m8 i told you i was doing some ting like this. i have started and no were ner finshed but if you want see how i am getting have a look at my video .................games room 741.... i stilllll have a long way to go as doing all work my self and if you have any tips for me let me now :)
you did a awesome job, im trying to get a room together , i just purchased a pool table and arcade, hopefully i get the jukebox i wanted . but great job!
Nice work. Very nice. Like the tile. I see you have three rows of canned lights in the TV area... ever feel like that is too much? Also, what kind of lights do you have in the niches? Thanks.
Thanks. I have the three rows of pot lights on a dimmer, or yeah it would be too bright. I put all my lights on dimmers, I just prefer the flexibility. The niche lights are the license plate illuminators from the rear bumper of older pickup trucks. You can get them at any auto parts store, they're cheap and they last a long time. Also they are 12 volt so they are compatible with any low voltage home lighting kit. Mine are powered by a 12 volt transformer kit from home depot.
Thanks for the compliment. The space was L shaped, the long part was 14.5ft by 33ft with a bit more around the corner where the gas pump is (16ft by 9ft). You have 621 square feet, that's a huge room nearly identical in total size to mine. You have the space to do pretty well anything you want. Good luck.
have you had a look at my home theatre it doesnt look as flashy as yours yet but when my theatre room is finished it will look as good as it functions
hey man nice job on the whole set up i like how you went with the HD tv instead of projector i think they are over rated, nothing beats a solid image straight from the source. does the bar get alot of use
Hi, thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I prefer panel t.v.'s as well, the picture is much more rich and colorful. The bar has been great for parties, but gets most of it's use day to day, movies, etc. It kind of functions as a second kitchen when not being used as a bar. Sure beats running up stairs for everything!
Thanks. Yes I did build the bar, it is actually just a simple 2x4 frame sheeted in plywood and then covered in maple hardwood flooring leftover from another project. Good luck with your next bar.
Very nice. Did you build your own Bar? I'm finishing my basement and thinking of replacing my old bar with one I build my self. I really like your flooring and your bar design. great work.
very nice
