@santagotback101 Download "Source SDK" from the tools section in steam. Once you have it you can choose different types of programs. Also, Hammer Editor. To create a map for a game, you need this game installed on your computer and started once

you sound pretty young, but this is still a really good tutorial, i suggest using a "skybox" (if i got that right) instead of a "light" for an even lighting for the whole map.

i dont remember if thats whats the skybox is, but thats just because its about 8 months scince i made a map xD

go to steam, open your tools tab, there is a list of tools, there is an uninstaled tool called source SDK, download and install this tool, run this tool and select your engine version and game(you must legaly own a source game to do this) and then select hammer(the one at the very top of the menu) and then it will open the editor.
