@Songsmirth What kids were drinking? Just because a place has a bar in it with a liquor license, doesn't mean that it IS a bar. The Mystic Grille is a restaurant. It's the local hang out. Yes it has a bar and they sell liquor but not to minors. No one in this scene was drinking. The only time we saw minors served there was when Lexi compelled the bartender to not card.

I like this scene not just because of the Stefan and Elena moment, but because of the Katherine moment. It shows that Katherine does feel something deep down. I guess it takes a lot for her to feel. It shows that she does care about someone else other than herself.

I love this moment. It's so perfect. I always thought Nina's acting as Elena was kind of blah, but she did it perfectly here. Also, I love Katherine, and I love that there are these really tiny moments where you see her humanity. I think she'll become one of the "good guys" eventually, hopefully not anytime soon though because I really like how they structured her character and she should be a psychotic bitch a little while longer. Also, Nina's portrayal of Katherine is sooo good.

In my opinion this is probably the best scene that Elena does! Nina is so talented! I love her both as Katherine and Elena but this is the best Elena moment and well she expresses her fear and guilt.
