the problem with the whole "americans tend to be bigger" stereotype is not that it's not true-- statistics can tell you that if you really care to know. it's that it's incomplete and, to me, overblown.
there are american people who would consider Emani "overweight" or "fat" as well as french people who would think she's fine. The whole weight thing is just dumb and i'm sick of it.

Et c'est un stéréotype car il est basé sur la perception. "overweight and underweight" are medical conditions that can be proven. "fat", "skinny" not so much.
