  • I've checked this one on Railtrack too. Turns out to be F16 Wellington via Wairarapa to Palmerston North (and probably beyond). Strange thing is that DC4565 was also listed as being on this train. Further its arrival time in Palmerston North was listed the same as for the 3 DXs. However we must believe the evidence of our own eyes! Maybe it went only as far as Masterton and then came off. There again what's on Railtrack is only as good as what's input into the computer.
