Just read the rest of these comments see starter us fixed... I chassis dyno tune drag cars sound like a lean backfire common to t-rams try setting idle to 12.5:1 AFR and a good pump shot worked well specially on foot brake cars Fu k the gas mileage!

Hey torocco777. No worries man. Thanx for the compliment. Its all superstition. I fire it up dry without the impeller the first day every time I take it out. Its a good luck thing. Like how some athletes on a winning streak dont wash their jocks for a whole season or whatever. :) And partly because the people camped next to us were being assholes about how loud our camp was. Just wanted to kick it up a notch!

Speaking of assholes camping next to us. We were at camp white trash, I mean camp far west and these juice heads were being assholes. So my buddy waited till dark and swam out in the water and came up behind thier boat and pulled the plug. Come six am when everyone woke up all there was was a shiny wing nut from the top of the air filter left above water. My buddy carries the plug on his key chain for good luck now. Frigging awesome!!

you dont blow out the jets its the power valves and no matter how expensive the carbs are powervalves are cheap and it doesn't have chokes so it's not gonna idle when its cold and more than likely its a hot day so the oil is warm enough the thing you have to worrie about is could seizing STUPID

Well, here's another thing bud.. you obviously don't care much about that motor if you're putting up over 3,000 immediately after startup.. don't you know that oil has to warm up? and btw.. those carbs are expensive.. might wanna quit backfiring it before you blow out the jets.

Correct, there on low rpm horrific, but on high rpm strong. The "civic" engine you reffering to is technically advanced and better then any Hemi you can think off. By now, the poop out equal amounts of HP for less costs.

Hemi/v8 is a typical American status object to have, just like a Harley is (and those are far from the best bikes in the world. Nonetheless, i can value it all, the boat in the vid is really well build and with passion.

Mine is a V-Drive, not a jet. I bought mine for about $4500.00 and then put another $5000.00 into it. Lately I have been seeing them for about $3000.00 all the way up to $26,000.00! Depends on how much you want to spend I guess.
