  • mE LiK JaAm!!!

  • @tuhada22

I disagree with you there was no one else can sing as good as MR. Rafie Sahab.

    He is the best...

  • i respect rafi sahib BUT i personally think kishore da could sing this song much better ... even rafi did n great job... and people who think we cant compare these singers r dumb, until u dont compare u cant even included in argument .... JUST IMAGINE KISHOR KUMAR'S HEAVY VOICE IN THIS SONG ......

  • @TuHaDa22 hi friend. Although I respect your view, To say that KK would have sang this better is an overstatement. I can see your point that it could have been sang by KK in his own "heavy voice" and he would have done justice to it. I also feel that there are many songs in the 60s which could have been sang by KK, but we cannot say that he would have done better. Similarly, I feel that Rafi was able to sing 95% of the songs that KK sang in the 70s and would have done extremely well.

  • MR. RAFI SAHAB IS THE KING FOR EVER !!! NO ONE NOW OR IN FUTURE WILL EVEN COME CLOSE......

  • old is gold

  • excellent...song so real beauty is everywhere {not sex need} but there are less eyes to see it...

  • My inside sings Rafi songs (Gurpal Baidwan)

  • The word' Jam' is rendered differently each time, not one matches with other, this was the greatness of Rafi, Rafi Sahab"Hukuten' in each of his song is quite amazing, Rafi is matchless

  • Jam is used some 7 times by rafi and each one sounds different from the other, he sang it differently each time

  • @kulsoompasha ; Rafi sahab cannot be matched. The man was impossible. He is light years ahead of other fairy tale singers.

  • Excellent song and very well sung by Rafi... but this is a terrible scene. Dharmendra looks like an oaf.

  • Dharmendra didn't do justice to most songs of Rafi, this is one example of those

  • nice

  • loved it ..:-)

  • Great song with excellent lyrics! Why doesn't this have more views?

  • Excellent song and lyrics. Wonder why this doesn't have more views.

  • ultimate song.... great Dharmendra with equally great voice of Rafi Sahab

  • We r fortunate that we could listen to musical delights from Md Rafi saab's silken voice...and also...he was ably supported by some great music directors of his time..

  • What does "jaam" mean? Drink, intoxication, drug?

  • @soph6ia ,

    Jaam means drink.

The song basically starts saying Toasting this drink in the name of your eyes, lips......etc... so hero is praising the beauty of heroine in a way for which Bollywood movie is so famous for.

  • @soph6ia usually its an alcoholic drink but it can be bhang also which is made from milk and almonds and some intoxicating herbs; girls like this drink cause of its sweet kinda taste. i invite you for this drink at my house you are welcome to my party ok

  • @soph6ia jam is an urdu word meaning thereby an intoxicating drink in measured quantity.

  • duniya ko ho..........auron ki dhunn

humko toh hai saaqi se kaam

  • @AhadVedux84 lachkaiyay shaakhay badan

  • @tube4625 mehkaiyye zulfon ki shaam!

  • @AhadVedux84 yahan ajnabi koi nahi

  • @tube4625 yeh hai aapki mehfil tamam!

  • awesome voice by late md rafi . best words , best silent songs

  • Nothing like a Punjabi boy going after a bengali girl

  • Well this particular Punjabi boy can go after any girl.

  • @soph61a: are you a bengali girl?

  • Rafi Sahab and Kishor Da would really feel sorry on seeing cheap talks of comparison. Get grow up buddies

  • @sumitns: like md.rafi, even Kishore Kumar was a singer by choice. Yup, he doesnt have any formal training, but he went for acting initially because his brother Ashok Kumar (who was already into acting and directing) told him to do so to earn a living. Kishore Kumar always wanted to be a singer. But ya no comparison between Md. Rafi and Kishore Kumar, they both are the best in their respective songs....

PS: Listed to Main Shayar Badnaam by Kishore Kumar

  • if someone really wants to enjoy this song.. Pls dont see the video... Listen to the song using an earphone and see the voice modulation of God's own voice that is Rafi Saheb... He never touched liquor but his voice.. u see... there is alcohol everywhere in the song... Never realised that this is such a beautiful song before i listened to it clearly...

  • very well said... God bless M. Rafi.. a class of its own... an institute within itself!

    peace

  • this is rafi saabs one of the best song

  • :x nice song :X

  • True it is one OF his BEST....LOL look at her lol

  • I like Dharmindera Pahji He is very handsome

  • rafi ......miles ahead ok kishore and company

  • Dear Russel.. Dont even think of comparing Rafi Saheb with KK and company.. KK, although I respect him a lot, was never a playback singer by choice.. He wanted to be an actor.. Rafi Saheb.. On the other hand, was a trained classical singer. Some people including u try to compare Rafi saheb with KK.. Pls dont compare because Rafi saheb ki takkar ke to kai singers they par un jaisa koi nahi tha,, Wo humaare bhagwaan hein..."

  • I am not a fool that Iw ould compare rafi sahab with anyone.......I know rafi sahabs class....and I dont need to be said what Rafi sahab was.......

  • One of Mohammad Rafi's best.

    the lyrics are alive,,,even today

  • rafi is incredible. movie of 1967

  • Even before starting playback singing, RAFI saheb had done RIYAJ of over twenty years.

One thing is true is that LAKHMI and SARASWATI ji never live together. OLD greats like RAFI saheb proves that
