I love this film guys, but you have to admit Fight Club is much better. Fight Club it's itself a movie-long metaphor, full of content, about happiness and humanity.

Butterfly effect it's only showing problems of society and solving them with an entertaining story, but the lack of phylosophy is the reason why it is not considered that good.

If you have a warm heart then you would rate this movie as your #1 love movie of your life. If you don't have a warm heart and you think this movie is just okay and you seen better. Idk you in my opinion is drunk because this movie is the best i seen with ashton and this movie might be fiction but fiction movies bring us together and make us think that as we think we feel happy inside and yeah. I just love this movie :)

Low critical reception. Why? Because of the "vile acts" the characters commit (Ty Burr) and the "morbid subplots" (Mike Clark). People forget - these things really happen. Child abuse is real. Prostitution is real. Delinquency is real. Prison rape is real. There are fucked up people out there. Critics need to realize that just because life isn't pretty doesn't mean it's not worth showing on the big screen. And just because life isn't pretty doesn't mean it's not worth fighting for, either.

I love this movie, but the theatrical cut, the one with good ending. I saw director's cut and the ending was waaaay too fucking sad. I prefer theatrical. Director's cut doesn't even have this song in the end, when the credits roll.
