question... what if you don't like winamp? for example I'm a DJ and use Avid Torq or Virtual DJ and would like to do all mi live mixes there instead of in winamp... can I do that??? at the same time... is this only to play music? or in shoutcast I can talk too? Thanks!!
I like the fact your a Brit how refreshing to hear a tutorial that is clear and precise in its detail was really easy to follow I was up and running in seconds
Thank you very much for this, it was informative. I am planning on streaming Old Time Radio programs in the future. If that is the case, what bit rate do you still recommend I use with wavestreaming? Especially seeing as how the quality of those older programs aren't as good as modern CDS
@Ironbudokan Hello, As a general rule of thumb: 128kbps is CD quality. 64kbps is FM quality and 32kbps is Telephone quality. So for old time radio, we would suggest 64k (and stream in mono) - as it will still have a good sound but not crystal clarity required for modern broadcasts.
Can I do this for a talk radio format, and can I upload my own audio/music files as well? Do you have anything for video webcasting. While I'm at it do you have anything for listener call ins that I can control? Looking forward to your reply...Thank you very much James. You will be hearing from me...Michael
kl video btw see if you upload the radio to your own server then that would take your site out of the equations wouldnt it not? and could ya not just upload to a free web host?
is there any way use espn radio on my social network or is it aganist the law

How do you make your own server? I want to host just using my pc, not some other person hosting my stuff.
