True Christianity has the feminine Mother (Mary) and Bridal (Sophia) aspect which Christ spoke about in the Gnostic gospels, Christ and Sophia is much like Shiva and Shakti. Jesus did say "I and the Father are One" so in a way he did say he was one with God but he also made it clear that we also have that union the divine but we have not realized our Christ selves he said "the kingdom of God is with in you". Christ spoke of the goddess just like Hindu masters. Jai Ma.

First, Making God into a woman.

over 2300 times God is referred to as He in the Scriptures, and not once is He a She...God declares himself to be masculine. Flat out, it is heresy to say that God is a woman. not because it doesn't fit my "world view", but because God declares who He is in His revealed Word, and because I believe Jesus!

I respect your right to your view and your conviction in your religion but I can't help thinking that if 'God' is Omnipotent and Omniscient then God must be capable of anything.. for me this would include manifesting is masculine or feminine. Surely God is not bound by our limited understandings

@sonofthesea - The Christian Bible contains prophecies of future events written hundreds (and sometimes even thousands) of years in advance which have been fulfilled. Bible mentions many scientific principles that were not known until long after it was written. For example, the earth was generally believed to be flat until the time of Columbus. Yet Isaiah 40:22 mentions "the circle of the earth. The evidence is compelling. Trust in Christ sacrifice for you and be saved eternally!
