  • Audrey never ceases to make my smile

  • Lol cute so I guess my vocals teacher wants me to sing this for my vocals exam :$

  • I like her horrid accent hahaha she is adorable.

  • I think this is the only song that use Audrey's voice... I think she sound amazing!!!

  • She looks so cute in this scene...

  • Pretty...awful...

  • 'All I want is 'Enry 'Iggins 'ead."

    Epic look at the king...lol

  • Hahaha I loooooove this movie!!!!!! I know it's Audrey Hepburn acting Eliza but who sings??????

  • @Selmusic101 Marni Nixon and Audrey both did the singing. They can't even tell when one or the other is singing .

  • 2:55 to 3:03 One second she's like "DIE Henry Higgins! DIE!!" imagining him dead and the next second she's like "Oops! Didn't see you there! I was talking about some person named Carry Chickens not about you. No."

  • WOW! they cut out the best part at the end when shes all like " AAAAAAAAA, AAAAAAAA" hahahahahahha.

  • my last name is higgins too and im really glad my name isnt henry, or else id be in trouble

  • My favourite song of the film

  • This is my best friend's audition song! She does it perfectly :D

  • I think this singer attended the Dick van Dyke School of Cockney Accents.

  • Wow, Nottz killed this sample -

    Boogieman - Just You Wait

  • Note to self: Don't Piss Off Eliza Dolittle.

  • I'm singing this dog in a competition. The cockney accent is so fun to sing in!

Oh, and ya gotta love her awkwardness at the end, lol

  • I love the way she swimms at 0:55 looooool

  • "enry iggins" loool

  • I'm laughing because I came here to see where a producer got a sample from and find it's my fair lady lol, I knew I heard it from somewhere before and could not remember. For those who are wondering what I'm talking about and wish to know, look up "Just you wait (Instrumental) Notts" on youtube to hear, if you like Hip Hop beats maybe you'd like it, if not meh, up to you.

  • You're Busted at 3:01.

  • 2nd favourite song of this film

  • OOOOHHHHH! Enry Iggins!

  • Just you wait !!

    :)

  • PLEASE STOP COMPARING AUDREY HEPBURN WITH JULIE ANDREWS YOU TWATS!!!!! BOTH OF THEM ARE AMAZING!!!!!! I'N SINGING AND ACTING!!!!!!

  • @TheAnimemanize Audrey Hepburn is very talented, but you aren't hearing her sing in this film. It's Marni Nixon.

  • @Alainainthesky As true as this is, on the dvd there is a version of Audrey Hepburn singing "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?" and she was very good at it.

  • @rbud7 yeah, she just couldn't hold the accent singing.

  • Outstanding dark humor !

  • Most of this song was sung my Audrey Hepburn (not Marni Nixon, who only sang the section that begins, "One day, I'll be famous, I'll be proper and prim.") What a sad day when she died. I'm getting a bit upset watching great movies starring dead people.

  • i washed my hands before i typed this

  • Eliza is so adorable.

  • this is my angry song.

  • the rapper boggie man brought me hear

  • hahaha, I'm going to sing this for auditions next month :) ... I can't wait!!! LOL

  • "All I want is Henry Higgins 'ead."

.. Hepburn slowly turns around and finds him standing on the top of the stairs with the most peculiar look..

  • @JanaSklibova the voice is Marni nixon, she dubbed for this movie, west side story, the king and I, an affair to remember ect :)

  • go to st. james so often i will call it st. jim

    hee hee

  • I've seen many ingorant comments about Julie Andrews, like "she couldn't do it

bacause she was busy making Mary Poppins". I can tell you that she was not even been considered for Elisa. Jack Warner wanted a superstar for that role and there were

only two candidates 1. Audrey Hepburn, 2.Elizabeth Taylor.

I like JA very much but she wasn't a star at that moment.

  • Do you know who did sing this song? I know the voice is not Audrey's.

  • @JanaSklibova The lower note portions of the song are obviously Audrey Hepburn herself. Soprano MARNI NIXON comes in on the bridge of the song and helps Audrey out with the high notes. Then Audrey returns to the lower note portions of the song. This was the only song in the film where Audrey actually "sang".

  • every time i am wrong,, my wife sings this song,, she sings it 24/7

  • lol <3

  • AYYY

  • The Life of the Wife is ended by the knife.... thumbs up if you get what I'm saying :D

  • Good Song

  • 2:26 British redcoat guards

  • Happy Eliza Doolittle Day!

  • this is her singing :) only song in the movie but it rocks!!!! she should've sang through the whole musical :(

  • @ACWProductions101 The only reason she could sing part of this song, 1:20 until 2:25 was dubbed by Marni Nixon who did the rest of Audrey's singing, was because it was in a lower register, and Audrey still spoke/sung it. If you listen to her version of 'I could have danced all night', 'without you', and 'show me' which are all on youtube, it becomes obvious that while she has an ounce of vocal talent, she did not have enough to carry such a demanding operatic score.

  • @radiantguitar yes I know that...she was just an alto. I just wished they just changed the key for her...it would've sounded so much better. but thats show biz for you.

  • @ACWProductions101 I have thought about that too, but would "I Could Have Danced all Night" maintain it's light, airy, joy if it were transposed down? I am not so convinced that it would. I think for the sake of the score's integrity, Marni Nixon was the right choice. Then again, I am a huge Marni fan.

  • her laugh = <3

  • AAAAAAAAAAAA

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaae

  • Seriously, who hasn't had a dream sequence like this? :3

  • @animalluver8153 I have. *D

  • that awkward moment when you've been singing about killing someone and they're right behind you

  • @soccergirl97979: Yeah...

  • A* in English Speech!

  • I don't think that it's a problem that Marni Nixon does the singing. No-one complains about her doing the singing for deborah kerr in the King and I or Natalie Wood in west side story. Anyway Julie andrews was filming mary poppins while this was being filmed, no-one else could have been mary poppins.

  • @Madrcaze26 Everyone complains because instead of casting Julie Andrews, who IS the role, they cast someone who couldn't even sing the part!

And actually, Julie could've done MFL and MP. She just would've had to five up The Americanization of Emily...

  • @emmadilemmasings I'm only saying that if they're going to complain about this they might as well complain that they casted nonsingers in west side story and the king and I. Audrey's singing was recorded and she trained hard to do the singing, some of the singing is hers, as far as know she didn't know she was going to be dubbed. It was the producers choice and we cant change it now.

  • @Madrcaze26 I honestly couldn't care less whether they dub her or not. I'm all for dubbing. (Mainly because I know in the future, someone's gonna dub my voice in a movie without telling me!) But it hurts me, actually HURTS me, to think that we didn't get to see JA in this.

  • to bad it was not her real sing voice. in ths movie.

  • "OOOOOOO 'enry 'iggins! Just you wait until we're swimmin' in the sea!"

  • Best actress ever , most beautiful women who ever existed on herath and that charm <3

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

  • LEGEND

  • the end and her expression LOL.

  • This is what I remember of My Fair Lady

  • i am doing my fair lady with my theatre group, i am playing eliza and i am so excited, this is my favorite one to sing

  • audrey hepburn is AMAZING!!!..... at acting, but i think that julie andrews should of got the part as she can act... AND SING!! instead of getting someone else to sing the pretty bits

  • @squash124 well........I feel like julie andrews' voice is not right for this character. And i fell like audry hepburn is hard enough for the part, Julie andrews would've been a bit too soft for this role.

  • @10ytrewq I thought so too, and then I came across the OBC album and had to buy it to test this theory. When I heard her sing "Just You Wait" and "Show Me," it actually started to make me ANGRY that they didn't let her do the film. She is mesmerizing when she sings it... There's a clip of her doing Show Me, and even though she's a little awkward when she does it, it's FANTASTIC.

  • @squash124

ironic that you should comment that on the only song which she actually did sing haha. but agree, julie andrews would have been a much better cast

  • @squash124 actually, audrey can sing beautifully, and she put herself through rigoruos voice training in prep for this film, but they decided, without consulting her, to dub her voice AFTER all her practise. She was quite upset. The exact same thing happened to the actor of Freddie Einsford-Hill, and he was just as upset :(

  • @squash124 they wanted julie andrews to fill the role but she was already in contract to film mary poppins... audrey can sing, very well actually, she just didn't have the soprano range that eliza is supposed to have.

  • @squash124 *should have gotten. Otherwise you have a valid point.

  • @squash124 Are you kidding me? Audrey Hepburn is such a great singer!

  • @squash124 ahem, audrey hepburn CAN sing and was going to do the singing parts aswell, but then they chaged it without telling her. She was very upset and nearly quit because her singing had already been taped and she had been put through long training sessions for nothing.

  • @squash124 I agree, Audrey is VERY good- but she can't sing all that good.

  • love this song love this show

  • OOOOOHHHH, Enry Iggens! Just you wait until we're thwimmin in the thea!

  • 3:01 - Awkward......

  • i did this just now and failed i flet like i ruined this song

  • You should've let it go a little more, to get Higgins saying "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

  • audrey hepburn is such an amazing actress :)))) but I like Julie's singing voice better than Marni's

  • awesome .... so funny .....nice imagination...

  • This movie is epic! It's sweet and funny and phenomenally enchanting =) The songs are so catchy and the actors, especially Miss Hepburn, are fantastic ...One of the greatest movies ever made. Wish movies were still like this.

  • nothings greater than the cockney accent

This scene is so funny...I love it when she realizes he's not actually dead...hehe!

  • Every time I get really mad I think ooooooo 'enry 'iggins lol

  • Audrey was absolutely adorable...loved her sooomuch

  • Audrey is adorable!!! She looks like a little child here, because of her hair xD

  • luv the part where " 'Enry 'Iggins" dies it's so cheesy. XD

  • I can't help smiling this entire song.

  • I just love her laugh. It's so cute! My favorite parts throughout the movie are when she laughs. :)

  • I love this song! :p There will NEVER be another Audrey Hepburn.

  • love this song!! did she marry freddy or she chose henry higgins?

  • @roseychicks100 She chose Henry :)

  • @kaozEXODUS your retarted

  • haha, he puts his hands in his pockets on his way to be killed.(:

  • THE BEST MUSICAL EVER

  • Yeahhh boogey man killed masta ace with this beat!

  • i luv this song!!!!!! :)

  • WOW!! Audrey Hepburn!!! This was when celebrities deserved their royal status in my book. So much talent in every performing arts arena, and class.

  • just you wait enry iggins! lol....best movie ever

  • I love how she gets busted lmao

  • I think I prefer hearing the uncouth sound of Hepburn to the more refined sound of Marnie Nixon in the middle (1:40). I don't know why they had to transition between the two. Maybe they needed a more professional singer for the middle part.

  • @tkellnerus from what i have looked up on this film and audrey hepburn they recorded her voice originally and told (audrey hepburn) they would use it and then decided to go with the other girl and she didn't know of the change until the screening as for the transition i believed all of it was the other woman i didn't even know there was a transition between the two cause i didn't think they use her voice at all

  • May 20 ! Happy Eliza Doolittle Day, everyone!! :)

  • HAHAHA I love the end when she realizes she was imagining it all lol

  • i think this is the cutest I've ever seen Audrey (and think I've seen her in everything she's ever been in).

I think it's because it really looks like she's just lip synching and having the time of her life acting to the song xD

  • luv 2:29 to 2:32 thats kinda funny

  • I love the looks on Elizas face during her exchane with the king.

  • Nobody could have done this part better than Audry Hepburn. She was perfect.

  • who is this??? is it eliza or mrs baddington???

  • @itachilover1995 eliza

  • This is the only song in the movie that wasn't dubbed (except from 1:20 - 2:26.) I love Audrey <3

  • my best part is wen she turns round and Rex is just standing there and then he just says 'A', like its natural she wants to kill him... love it!! :)

  • @layDbugsandhuricanes I totally agree! Lol!

  • Audrey Hepburn makes me tired watching this movie, she put so much energy in her acting. She certainly didn't have any more weight to lose.Wow awesome!!!

  • wow i kind like the movie

  • She is too damn cute! <3 I love you Audrey!

  • Actually Marni Nixon dubbed for Audrey's voice. I'm still kind of disappointed that Andrews didn't get it. But I love both of them!

  • @cupicaik124 Well, if Julie Andrews did this film, she wouldn't be Mary Poppins.

  • It's not either. A woman did Audrey's singing part.

  • Comment removed

  • audrey got this part not julie and thats fine with me. both are great. it is audrey singing and she did great. i love this movie

  • I love Julie Andrewsion better....

  • This is soooo cute :)

  • I've read on wikipedia that in this song's chorus, it's Audrey's real voice.

That being said, as mainly a Julie Andrews fan, I don't get the hate all Andrews fan have for this movie. Yes, it's unfortunate that Julie didn't get the part but damn, get over it. This movie was made in 1964, for christ sake

  • What a great scene this is! The look on Audrey Hepburn's face is so priceless! :)

  • juyst yoo waiyt! ooooh!

  • *joins the imaginary soldiers*

    Whenever you're ready, Eliza.

  • i like !!!

  • i like i like

  • The only thing I can say of this video is: WOW!

I didn't like Audrey very much (maybe 'cause everyone keeps on saying she's the best...blabla) but after I saw this film, I've come to like her (a little bit :P)

  • so it looks like Kiera Knightley will not be in the new My Fair Lady remake...

    talks of Carey Mulligan??

  • Oh DEAR GOD. They're making a remake? Why can't they leave well enough alone?!??

  • no way! please tell me it's not jlo..lets hope they dont do it.. it's a classic, leave it alone.. i love this movie as is..

  • Audrey Hepburn is lovely isn't she?
