  • thx it helped a lot i dont use it but also got it incase...

  • I had to recover my hard drive so my Word program is gone but I never had to pay for it. If it did not come with it, I don't want to pay for it again. What if you download a Word doc and then use OO to see it?

  • I prefer libre office 100% software libre

  • not everyone has a mac. :(

  • yes but Microsoft Office is slightly better and is widely available. You can always get yourself a pirated copy of it :)). So let's pirate Bill Gates

  • Maybe you should try to learn it before making a video.

  • With open office, will you be able to view slideshowes that you receive in emails?

Currently, when trying to view a slideshow, the computer will ask for your word product key.

  • I don't have a printer so wen i go to internet cafe and i used office.org is it automaticaly reads it in there microsoft office 2010? or 07? so that i can print it?

  • if i have word at school can i make a document in open office and open it in word at school? thanks.

  • @WDWxProductions yes you can :D

  • Open-Office RULES ! :)

  • You forgot to mention that it is available and was written for Linux. Its a full suite, not just a word processor

  • Actually I only use OpenOffice on my PCs, where on my Macs I use their port, NeoOffice. NeoOffice isn't really that different though, it's pretty much the same thing with more of a Mac-like theme, by that I mean a little different color at the top, some different icons etc. but other than that no different. I count NeoOffice as OpenOffice.

OpenOffice is my favorite Office Suite becuase it's free. However I have Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows though, and I still use that though. It was a gift.

  • why to waste $200 for Microsoft Office?? just get Opne Office is Free and easy to use and its like using Microsoft Office

  • you got this for free right?

if yes i am just makin sure

  • @SoulSilverRed It's 100% free! You can pick it up on our free downloads page! :)
