You need a very, very basic knowledge of DOS to run DOSBOX. Someone from this "point/click/copy/paste" generation is likely to have problems using it. After all a "C:\>" command prompt has always been SO confusing and hard to use.
I'd love to play this game again, but I find DosBox to be incomprehensible gibberish. I've followed it's instuctions to the letter and still nothing fucking runs. Why not just make it so I install it, click on a Dos game .exe file and it fucking runs? How difficult would that be?
I've had the same issue. Not sure what I'm missing, but I cannot get anything to run in dosbox. Not sure if I'm just configuring it wrong or what. For somebody who grew up with computers, it's embarressing sometimes, how little I know about them.
Make a copy of the entire DOSBOX install folder. Install BIOForge inside that folder. Rename the folder to BioForge, or whatever the .exe file is called minus the .exe. That should help.

Dos box is simple. To those who say they are following the directions all I can say is no, you are not following the directions.
