The whole world is "scared" of China and even if the UK wants to help there is not much they can do unless China agrees. I suggest that you learn Mandarin and give this speech to the politburo members (the hu's and the wen's, the xi's and the li's) of the CPC in Peking and convince them to support Aung San Suu Kyi. Wai Hnin, you are a very brave and educated woman. Burma Campaign U.K. is great too. Bad comments are made by the junta's thugs. Just one or two person is doing it multiple times. the November elections is designed to fool the world into thinking the Burmese people want the Myanmar generals to rule them. It's outrageous to see the UN and the world at large play along with the generals.

It's painful to watch the UN and the world pleading the generals to be this and that when the Burmese people, who knows these generals' cruelty first hand has said over and over again that these generals are not to be trusted at all. Why don't UN and the rest just listen!?
