  • 5:51 ...that can't be right. That would imply more Muslims than Jews in the US.

...no, the CIA world factbook says less than 1%. And why does Albania appear to be yellow (although it's a bit hard to make out)? Shouldn't it be red?

  • To answer your question Thunderf00t...Fear, which is kind of ridiculous when you think about it. i live in the Midwest, and I'd hazard a guess that the average American citizen around here is better armed than most Islamic "soldiers", and even if not, they CAN be with one trip to the gun store. We have gangs of teenagers in this country that are far more dangerous and can field more firepower than Islam, and while these gangs are threatening, we don't grant them the same fearful credence.

  • use religions "values" and "teachings" against them, stone the none scientific believers, burn them for being gods wives, and repress them for 1000 years, and your a hipocrit?

  • To bet quite fair Thunderf00t, my beef is not with you generalizing and offending Muslims. My problem is that there will be idiots who listen to this sort of thing and if they don't have much experience with Muslims themselves, will assume that the same applies to ALL or MOST Muslims, when it really doesn't, and this will lead to many problems.

  • Listen mates..It's unpopular speech that HAS to be protected! Just remember, it is just talk and not action we're talking about. I remember when the KKK had a big rally in New York years ago complete with a loudspeaker -spewing their ignorance! But they DID nothing but flap their gums..and you know what? Most New Yorkers just laughed and generally ignored them!

  • I'm happy to say that at least some muslims are forward thinking; my mom's friend fled here from Saudi Arabia and she's much like a liberal christian in that she accepts science, rejects all of the hate and intolerance preached in the koran and looks only at the good bits (giving to the poor, etc.) while condemning stuff like threats to the South Park creators.

  • your the man thunderf00t, keep up the good vids!

  • I have a very simple answer for you. 9/11 made people paranoid.

  • @didjargo That, and we have people like Bill O'Reily that really are bigots and think that everything they disagree with is from the devil and needs to be sent back to hell. There really are websites that mindlessly say that all muslims should be rounded up and either killed or deported. I think people are afraid to throw their lot in with people like that.

  • TF: at 10:40 onward, if you replace islamic with "socialist" or "communist" it suddenly does make sense. Since creationism is just religious belief and islam is both religious belief and a legislative force, the guys argument makes more sense as you give it credit.

The personal god venerating people are mad ofc, but I just wanted to point this out.

  • It's okay if Glen Beck spews hate-speech, but atheists better shut up huh? -No, Glen beck has a right to express his stupid ass and I would defend his right to do so

  • If that guy called me a child molester, I would have punched him right in the face! -Of course then I would have been arrested! Good thing I wasn't there

  • @Lennon4ever1 doubly so.

  • @Lennon4ever1 I was just thinking that. :)

  • Thunderf00t, Humanism was already massively popular in Europe before Spain was taken over by Xtians in 1492. It got mostly popular in Italy because of its location to to Ancient Greece. Other than that, great video, as always :)

  • You tell em Thunderf00t!

  • brilliant creationists?

  • Late and everything, but it's a fallacy that, as far as I remember is called 'argument by force' or 'argument by having the bigger stick behind the door'.

Basically, if I burn/hurt/kill/explode/sue/whatever you/your family/the Underground/an embassy/anything if you disagree with me, you will be very, very quick to agree with me.

And you only see those few who are threatening loudly enough to be heard. So even if there are nice people out there who just want a quite life, the fear is stronger.

  • @AmeNoOrchestra69 Great, there are some among the violent sociopath sorts that are not. Did it ever occur to anyone that the people the violent dangerous ones are hurting the most are the very people who just want to live a peaceful quiet life? Anyway, TF merely pointed out that they're scientifically and technologically crippled because of their utter rejection of science due to their religious dogma. And that they seriously overreact to criticism.

  • "If you insult my religion again, I cant be held RESPONSIBLE for my actions" Sorry, you are responsible for your actions no matter. I don't understand why the religious feel like their beliefs are not to be questioned ever !?!? They come on here, post something... then get all mad when someone questions it.

  • My theory on this; it's because the strongest critics of Islam today come from war hawks and the Christian right. Since most atheists are liberals, there's a tendency to get defensive about anything that sounds like the Christian right.

Some thoughts from a liberal atheist.

  • @antitheist1980 As Sam Harris noted about Terry Jones, "He may be crazy, but he's not crazy about Islam."

    Well said.

  • Great video, I think people give Islam a "special pass" in part because the religion has demanded nothing less and have done so with the threat of extreme violence. People have been conditioned to give in to their fear before they evaluate the merits of an argument.

  • Love it tfoot....keep it up..

  • Christian beliefs cannot withstand the questioning mind....

  • Christianity cannot withstand the questioning mind....

  • well, islam was one of the most academic acheivers in the world pre-crusades. then you notice that when the christian west made a genuine scientific discovery that wasn't considered heresy, the muslims did not want anything to do with it. aggresion= hatred= ignorance. it's what we teach our children, why do we then become hypocritical? islam isnt even a problematic belief. notice again- muslims are not aggressive to the christian west untill one of their leaders builds army bases on holy land.

  • @trandomphatguy Sorry, but no, Islam put an end to academic achievement of the advanced civilisations the Arabs conquered. Those civilisations managed to continue their work for a while, DESPITE, Islam, but eventually ended by it. Interesting that Muslims are so keen to claim as 'Islamic' the achievements of those civlisations, but is only too quick to disown as 'culturally specific' the slaving that is characteristic of the Islamic presence in Africa.

  • @ritchloui huh. sorry. i didnt realize- just done some fact tests, yes you are right. well then. i apologize.

  • I think it's so funny how muslims are always freaking out that someone is trying to end their religion and yet they are always screaming that they want to end everyone else's religions... I just... Man it is just so lame.

  • CONT'D: burn us. The disparity between radical Islam and the secular west is a real problem, and stifling ourselves with excessive political correctness amounts to denial. If Muslims want to bring Islam to the west, that's great. Let it be subject to the same trial of fire as every other idea. No kid gloves, nothing sacred.

  • CONT'D: The common retrospective understanding of 9/11 (particularly on the political left, where I reside) has been that U.S. foreign policy was to blame for waking the sleeping dragon of radical Islam. While this is true in many respects, it causes westerners to look for internal problems, at the expense of external ones. This amounts to myopia. Rather than asking where the proverbial dragon has come from, we spend our time promising ourselves that if we don't poke it in the eye, it won't

  • CONT'D: It made me think of my grandfather saying things like, "Muslims come here and take all our free healthcare" - (evidently I am Canadian). Since I like to think of myself as a fairly rational person, I considered the arguments devoid of emotionality, and realized what is good for the goose is good for the gander. It seems a lot of people have not. I also think that it's part of an elaborate form of cultural denial that has surfaced in the west in the wake of 9/11.

  • In response to Thunderf00t's question at the end of the video: I think the reason criticism of Islam is taken so much more seriously than criticism of other religions is indeed the fact that it's associated with the bigoted ramblings of angry white people (a la Fox News). I'll admit that when I first started reading and listening to serious criticisms of Islam (from people like Sam Harris), I felt unsure: "Is this racist?"

  • Why should Islam be above criticism in the West when other religions aren't? Is it because of fear of violence? That's not a valid excuse, those who can't deal with honest criticism need to simply grow up, and not be appeased. People who throw violent tantrums (like rioting) in defense of their beliefs, only make themselves look immature and foolish in the eyes of others. I often wonder if such Muslims actually *want* to be offended, so they would have an excuse to lash out against the West.

  • Wow, people that are pro-muslim jumping to genocide as the only solution for anything... was ANYONE surprised? Also, it's not too shocking that you're basically going through the same thing again with these tossers over that makeup reviewer pretending to be a scientist.

  • I was like... eh... then the quote at 3:59 in came and I shot coffee out of my nose laughing at 'that's prejudice, they might just have been busy doing something else'.

  • Thunderfoot in answer to your question why my thought is that they are very brainwashed by early imprinting while brain is placid and easy to manipulate.

The answer is proper education, which they don't get. As children they are thought lies about everything by adults they look up to. Adults that take up a believe that is unfounded need a mental screening or an education and a therapist to help them recover. Actually booth will need a therapist after discovering they were mislead.

  • everybodys a judge apparently

  • @psychedellic420 Everyone should judge. The practical opposite of judge is ignore. Global ignorance of religions results in horrible things. We should judge them instead. We're not sentencing them, just providing our judgements. And those who care what others think should become more humane in their beliefs.

  • @Enginmaster well its impossible not to judge, but it is possible to judge the right way- these days, everyone judges people by their own standards instead of the standards the others judge themselves by- nobody takes into consideration that the judged individual is that way for a reason and lack any understanding of their experience and fail to even consider any validity of a different judgement.

  • @psychedellic420 I doubt that I should switch to the standards of Islam to judge them or to evangelical standards to judge evangelicals. I use my own standard and I should. Humanism is worthwhile. If you judge everyone by their own standards you get a universal consensus of "oh they're perfect" which is the same as ignoring them and not judging at all. We all, to my knowledge, do in fact take into consideration the reasons why they end up that way. It doesn't change good judgement.

  • @Enginmaster Mkay, if you like holding everybody to your own standards and not consider who they are, fine with me, i just hope i never meet you because myself as long as the rest of humanity will never fit your judgement. You obviously dont understand what im trying to say- all you have to do is make a conscious awareness of who that person is, and if you understand the court system or america at all, you will find this is nonexistant and a simple dream.

  • @psychedellic420 There's no other standard to hold them to. If I make it ultimately relative to themselves it's going to be like measuring the altitude of a mountain peak as measured from the mountain peak. It'll be 0. But Mt Everest isn't 0 meters tall. I'm not trying to get people to "fit" my judgement. I'm trying to judge who has the most humanity in them. The ones that kill their daughters, they're bad. Objectively so. But not by their subjective standards. Do you disagree?

  • @Enginmaster I agree, you must judge others with your ego- but a wise man is aware of the ego he is judging and the ego that is doing the judging, and takes both into consideration. Thats what im saying the problem is- we never think about the judged.

  • @psychedellic420 We definitely think about the judged. That's the only way to judge. I add up the helpful things for society a subject does and the bad things. Compare it to what they could have done, and what most people do. One gets a good picture of things like that.

  • @Enginmaster we think about what were judging about them but not the THE in 'the judged'. THat is, the person. thats my whole point, not the action but the actor.

  • @psychedellic420 Well I can't speak for you, but I do think about the individual as a whole. If they seem confused or coerced by those around them, it's a less harsh judgement for the bad things, for instance. The person is indistinguishable from the memories and reactions of that person to the world around them.

  • @Enginmaster yes agreed good sir

  • I hope to see religion destroyed and replaced with intelligence and scientific reasoning within our lifetimes. The same goes for Homeopathy.

  • religion is for the DUMB.

  • @AntonyThorburn not all who follow religion are dumb

  • @Abbadon380 true, not all people who follow religion are dumb...smart people can do dumb things.

  • "fight and slay the pagans (or infidels/unbelievers) wherever you find them." Surah 9:5, Quran.

Nice religion there, pedophile Mohammed, go have sex with your 9 year old wife again.

  • actually the only people i know who criticize Scientology are people who have trouble believing that whole alien story. also how does it fair that this alien religion was created by a science fiction writer, whose religion charges you to get higher in heaven. who in their right mind would ever argue against that unless their evil.

  • @MAnnaconduit1 They are not their ;o)

  • It's the new political correctness of this dumb culture that automatically defends Islam as well as not stepping on any race's toes by avoiding any topics that cross that oh so naughty ethnic line.

  • To answer Thunderf00t's question, it's a surprisingly thin line between defending Muslim's who're being attacked by bigoted cretins, and defending islam when it's being questioned, however obliquely.

It's like not calling out a man who beats up his boyfriend, because it feels like homophobia.

  • I saw nothing hate related in this video. Nothing but a comparison of facts, opinions, and honest questioning. (Except for the obnoxious attitudes from the clips of religious believers edited in! =P ) Where are these genocide accusations coming from?

Is that what people who disagree nowadays do? Just shout a bunch of headliner words to just attempt to attract more attention? I know ad hominem arguments were prevalent, but wow.

  • they lack education, and can't understand the English language, and or can seem to watch your videos fully threw. 1 they need to be educated to understand how the world works TODAY NOT 300 years ago, 2 proper English, and score above a 3rd grade level, because thats what i have, and i even understand it.

  • It's amazing how many modern humans so readily believe the exact opposite of the truth. Whatever someone does or says, they believe the opposite. It is absolutely amazing. Whether you're a theist, teabagger, or just ignorant, the result is the same.

  • @xJoeEDangerouslyx I suppose if people can't bear reality, the easiest thing for them to believe is the opposite of the truth. No need for subtlety, or any of that troublesome stuff called 'thinking'.

  • thunderfoot, do you know why Muhammad told followers not to make an image of him?

  • @nystagmus because he's a genocidal, psychotic, pedophile and he does not want the next generations see his ugly fucking face?and thus attribute the acts he has done with his name?

  • @mihaimoldo actually it is because he did not want others to worship him as some idol. that the worship should go to one God and shared by no one else. he anticipated the religion to be diluted with innovations. that was the whole point.

so when muslims worldwide got angry in response to the denmark cartoon, even the muslims forgot the point as well.

  • @nystagmus Not entirely. The creation of idols is against God's law, so creating one of God's chosen prophet is using him as a sort of symbol for blasphemy. It's like a double insult. They look at it as disobeying God's word and using their sacred prophet to do it. It would sort of be like Christians bowing down and worshipping idolic statues of Jesus and the virgin Mary. That's one of the reasons Protestants leave the Catholic church even today. Just creating the image is Blasphemous to them.

  • @xJoeEDangerouslyx they don't use muhammad as a symbol. matter of fact, he said not to create him in art so peopel will not worship him. the whole point of that religion is that there is only one god and there is no partners with them. And they even say that in their prayers.

  • @nystagmus Problem with that is that the Islamic world has created Mohammad in art, and many paintings themselves, many which has had to have the face removed, or the whole thing completely torn down. Reflect on the fact that nobody even quirked an eyebrow back when Southpark first made a depiction of Mohammad, to how they react today when they hide him in a bear costume and later on even show that it wasn't even him in there. Even making such a fuss over this topic shows that do worship him.

  • islam is them?

    what?

it amazes someone making such a stupid statement can accuse ANYONE of not having enough knowledge to talk about something.

  • interesting... the YT crowd seems largely for evolution and against creation... yet, the statistics at large show quite a difference. Maybe they just dont know how to use computers? ...

  • @cycophile You should look at the thousands of creationist videos, responses, and comments on the various atheist/science oriented channels. I think you'll change your mind. Trolls4Jesus as I like to say are very prevalent. It is very disheartening.

  • Thunderf00t asks his community what they would do to help end the retardation of science and the export of censorship thinly disguised as "tolerance" that comes as a result of Islam. The sane human mind does not then jump to cries of "Genocide Genocide GENOCIDE!!" I really worry about some people.

  • tl; dw

  • Really, having religions is little problem. Having fundamentalists for that religion that are ignorant to science kind of makes lots of scientifically literate people sad pandas. And TF brings a really good point here. Education FTW. That's how poor countries became into economic powerhouses. EDUCATION.

  • I am guilty. Guilty of not having criticized islam to the same level as I have chrstianity or other religions, for two reasons; because I looked at how seriously many muslims take their religion and had the feeling that somehow, it was inappropriately offensive and because I felt that as an outsider, I had no right and that all I was doing was play into the hands of the more irrational islamophobes - being a fairly more eloquent fellow than many of the latter.

I was wrong. I admit it.

  • 2 ONLY WHO DARES GO 2 YOUTUBE.COM/USER/REKKITTEN

  • I don't think your characterization of modern Islam as being scientifically inept is a proper way to gauge a religions legitimacy. The United States is not necessarily the most scientifically forward thinking country in the world, nor do we typically use rational scientific methods, but we have all the big guns and the will to use them. I also think the Middle East is so stunted because of what the US government and its military has done to the region, along with the religion's internal factors.

  • Am I the only one who thinks those $cientologists acted REALLY defensive? As if they knew what they believe is total bullshit?

Also that dude saying "you look like a pedophile to me". Way to have a convincing argument, bro.

  • I liked this video - a very clear and well preseanted argument. I think that you are right when you say that education is the key. As you say christianity was just as fundermermental in its beliefs but these have been forgotten and religion has modified its self and stance to fit modern outlooks in society. I see know reason why Islam could not do the same and think that it is actually the probable outcome if the entire islamis world was educatied.

  • I want all religion 2 die, that doesn't mean i want all religious people 2 die, it means I hope they grow the F up & i dont make any apologies at all even if it is narrow minded. i actually really like some people whom i know who are religious, both christians, muslims & others, but i dont for 1 second respect their beliefs, because its stupid & demonstrably so & causes more problems than good. the death of religion does not equal death of spirituality, it means its BIRTH

  • thumbs up if you love science and humankind more than Israeli, Afghanistan , Iran , Iraq , Pakistan , and all other Abrahan countries.

  • People (who are not Muslims) defend Islam because they're afraid of being killed by crazy militant Muslims.

People (who are not creationists) don't defend creationism because it's not terribly common for creationists to blow shit up.

    Fear, plain and simple.

  • Islam, another great reason NOT to have children.

  • The only difference between Fred Phelps and your typical baptist preacher is tact.

  • @mjh012363 Ha so so true!! Or maybe just a shred of sanity. Either way they're all a bunch of draconian nutjobs who want non-believing, INNOCENT PEOPLE to experience indescribable pain for eternity!! It literally makes me sick to my stomach.

  • I thought this would be about the subtle art of self delusion. I was thinking it would convert me to Christianity..

  • I agree with all of the opinions in this video. I've decided if I amass a fortune to try and use a part of it to open universities and schools in Muslim dominated countries to try and encourage science. I doubt the governments of those countries will allow it though or the schools will be burned down.......

  • so many dumb people lololol

  • I think Richard Dawkins and Thunderf00t should have a debate together where they sit down and agree with each other.

  • @Andy32268 (they've) Been there done that! watch?v=5SCcJslv7X0 LOL!

  • @megawaylander

Wow, dude...I think you just blew the 10 commandments right out of the water with that!

  • Thing about fanaticism... they only hear what they want to hear. No amount of reason and morality can change that for them.

  • Yeah. Your video on Islam is in really poor taste. You did have some good points but saying that we could turn them to rubble is in no way helping your cause and doesn't help to get your point across. We already are turning their countries into rubble, supporting dictators and generally keep the islamic world under our thumb... which is fueling their hatred and nourishing the fundamentalists...

When I saw it I was turned off from you for a long long time. You're a smart man but not very tactful

  • Listen to those idiotic $cientologists...

"Educated" guess = "He looks like one to me".

    Yeah, that's "Educated" for a $cientologist.

  • cuz they're dumber than most?

  • By the brilliant logic of your video, Judaism is obviously the greatest religion in the world.

  • @SyKmGl Or maybe this guy " Akhenaten " ...a true legend ...or maybe someone else thought of the scam before him ?...We'll never know.

  • Hey, i'm in engineering up in quebec canada. At my university, there are a shitload of arabs and muslims... the proportion is even higher in post-graduate studies (therefore often publishing)... I'd like to know, Is it because i'm in quebec or canada that the demographic and social context is just different? or in the stats that you gave you just count islamic world as the middle east ? and completely ignore the diaspora ??

    Thx

  • @659851 consider why these people are part of the diaspora - it may be something to do with the nature of the societies they came from

  • Never violate a woman, nor harm a child. Do not lie, cheat or steal. These things are for lesser men. Protect the weak against the evil strong. And never allow thoughts of gain to lead you into the pursuit of evil.

  • education. EDucation. EDUCATION.

  • 5:01 Stargate Atlantsi clip!

  • #fear of the #unknown is what is Driving their #hate. Maybe they #feal left #out. Open...

  • People who defend islam/relgion are the real threat to western civilization

  • Thunderfoot is absolutely 100% correct about everything he says in WDPLAC #21. Thanks for posting it!

  • How I would address this problem... Military from NATO would quickly occupy important resources (oil) from majorly Islamic nations, obliterating all petty resistance, establish strict immigration screenings to filter out overly dedicated Muslims, completely excommunicate all Islamic nations know to violate basic human rights from international business, and tell them things will return to normal when they accept a human rights policy. (think Magna Carta)

They will accept or die off slowly.

  • @EdikShepherd

    I hear ya!

  • I don't always agree with thunderf00t but this is a good video. He is making good points.

  • Because people adopt childish behaviours those that relates us to primates, we want to get even to feel good. Attacking Islam will satisfy those who oppose this belief. These sadist closeminded sheep people consist the integral part of our civilized population. THANK gOD

  • As to your question at 10:26 - people often don't 'think' that way. They act on it to be sensationalist. The lie of it is the horrible things they insert into your words reveal more about them than about you.

  • Also you repeatedly mish mash "Muslims" and "Islam" in your agruments. To let you in on the difference. Muslims are PEOPLE who adhere to Islam. Islam is a RELIGION. You cannot blame Islam for this or that incident when its the PEOPLE who behave or act out.

  • @napalmsirius - The problem is the number who "act out". A Muslim professor has had to quit his post at a Uni in the U.K. because he spoke out in favor of evolution. He knows if he stays they will kill him. The only two Christian ministers in Pakistan spoke out about reforming blasphemy laws both were executed in the street. Same thing everywhere. When a religion has 10's of thousands of its followers "acting out" across the globe forcing the entire world to fear Islam then this is a problem.

  • @napalmsirius

Islam is not a religion, dumbass.

It's a totalitarian, fascist, xenophobe ideology

  • @sonykroket

Holy Quran, Chapter 5 Verse 3:

This day have I (God) perfected your religion for you (mankind), completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.

Holy Quran, Chapter 49 Verse 13:

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you.

  • @napalmsirius

Who gives a shit, you preaching dorkie. You think spewing reli-nonsense is a valid argument?

Only shows how brainwashed you are.

    Quran=used toiletpaper

  • @sonykroket

Yeah, but cherry picking verses from the bible that show compassion doesn't negate the violent verses. This also doesn't make make god less of an ass for setting up things like eternal torment for those who don't accept your religion.

  • @napalmsirius

"You cannot blame Islam for this or that incident when its the PEOPLE who behave or act out."

Likewise you cannot blame Nazim (Godwin's law is here again!) for PEOPLE acting out!

I expect an omniscient god to to know that people will be killed, ensure that no other interpretation than the one intended could take place. You could ofc blame Saudis and how their influence has led to 30% (one third) of British Muslims approving the death penalty for apostasy.

  • The only thing preventing Muslims from expanding in science are the western backed dictators who supress the citizens of those Muslim countries. How can you in one video say that Islam led the world in science for 400 years and then a few minutes later say Islam is a impediment to science, unless you are intentionally being manipulative...

  • @napalmsirius Did U not pay attention to the Vid. When he speaks of them as being the leaders of Science he was talking in PAST TENSE (Historicaly) over 1000 yrs ago back during 800-1100ad is when they were leaders in science until Fundamentalist Islam took over and thrust them back in the Darkness of Ignorance, and Has kept them there ever since. Are U intentionaly being manipulative by ignoring what he previously said and then try to make it look like he's being manipulative?

  • While moderate Christianity grew up and adopted Western values, you're not giving the impression that you believe Islam capable of ever being able to. Rather, you state that it has no place in the First World (kind of an obsolete term but whatever), a place that Christianity has accustomed itself to as the Ethical "advisor" of the political system (regardless of what one might think of that role) at least in Protestant and Catholic Europe. This is the difference from my point of view.

  • Islam is hardly comparable to Scientology in terms of appeal and especially numbers. A religious society like Scientology is per definition extremist, so to speak, whereas Islam spans many more peoples and followers and thus there can be different interpretations of it, at least among regular citizens. And even assuming these alternative interpretations are principally made by Muslims in Western countries, it is a fact that many such Muslims feel unable to pick either religion or science.

  • Genocidal Pig fucker? that's new

  • why didn't he just laugh at the scientologist guy?

  • Finally, someone who makes sense.

  • well, TF00t, some people (ahem) just wanna feel important.

but i noticed that few muslims actually came to the defense of Islam...

because obviously, the whole world wants to do that for them.

  • 9:24 is that guy crying?

  • 451 people are christians

  • @Menak666 The moneytary system itself is a flawed system. The banks create the money with debt added to it. And the money we own has no real value since the bankers can control its value by inflation. If we eradicate the monetary system and get the banks out of our society and use gold/silver we can stabalize our economy by a great deal. After that we can think of a 'Resource based economy'

    /watch?v=iYZM58dulPE

  • @Menak666 thats true too, but what i dont understand is why cant we live in this world like there wasnt any religions there fighting againts each other wich i dont know why.

and i proud to say i am a Muslim.

peaple think that all Muslims cn be friends with jous but one of my CLOSEST friend he is like my brother is jouish i dont care about anyone that has a different religion. so ya

  • i think there is an assumption that Islam is more easily offended by criticism compared to other religions, why? i don't know, but i agree that it is strange.

  • Being offended is not an excuse to censor.

  • OMG Tfoot just said islam is retarded. Burn him at the stake.

  • 03:14 Anyone else getting the urge that their fist would look really nice on that guys face right now?

  • 3:40 -interesting you make that statement, doesn't it follow then, that religion is inherently good -for 'culture, freedom of thought and yes even scientific advancement', , but like democracy if not protected can be hijacked -not by atheists, satanists, pagans or scientologists, but by the religious. Oh the irony!

But hey, who was it that warned us with: "Beware the yeast of the pharisees."

  • I think people expect Muslims to get a free pass because many of them are brown or black. So religious criticism somehow becomes racial bigotry even though there's little if any relationship between them. Even so, criticizing one's belief is far more valid than attacking one's heredity.

Personally, I don't criticize Islam much because I know nothing about it. I'd knock them for the general stuff: anti-intellectualism, misogyny, ect. but nothing within the quran's text. Not yet anyway.

  • the problem i find with Islam is that there is not muchdistinction between Religion and state.

So a law that would have been good 1400 years ago...where free speech could have led to open rebellion against the king...are being applied today.

  • How can it be acceptable in Islam to use evil Western technology like the high explosives the employ to blow themselves up?

  • Brilliant! Truth stings man! Keep the good work up...

  • thunderf00t :) <3

  • you, sir, have balls.

  • I Was going to leave a comment, but then I decided not to. Some of you self righteous racist bigoted communist right wing religious capitalist islamic christian satanist evolutionary scientific muslim conservative liberal socialist volcano worshiping porn stars might think this qualifies as a comment; but it doesn't. If it did then I'd be some sort of reactionary trouble making critical thinking neanderthal anthropologist shinto muslim jew who makes gerneralizations all day. But I don't.

  • @6billion9 I understand... but why should we call you shintoist? D:

  • i hate islam, doesnt mean i hate muslims...

  • People are scared of a life with freedom, its like how prisoners often wanna stay in prison after a while.

  • @whatkoh "Do you not make the assumption that sicence is a indicator of progress and social welfare?"

    I do, because it is.

"Hence, unscientific views and or views that impede scientific progress becomes ridiculous to you."

    Eerrr, yes. Because they are.

  • Racists, bigots and fascists are the usual ones who throw those such words around these days.

  • Thunderf00t should have a weekly show televised on basic cable for all to see. You sir, are my hero.

  • oops outdated.

i mean were seing now that they kan deal with it on there own

  • oops outdated

  • Thumbs up if you like science more than Islam.

  • @glynch55 I like science more than anything, and hate religion more than anything sooo... yeah.

  • If anyone in the muslim world would bother to take a look at the shit-holes the majority of muslims live in, it'll be immediately clear for them what islam is all about. The poorest people in the world in numbers are the muslims because they refuse to become educated. It's a patri-archaic society trapped in a dead-end. Old guys with no mind but a lot of power.

  • I agree with Thunderf00t. No religion deserves a pass.

    Keep up the great work!!!

  • The reason is simple. People are afraid if Islamic Radicals.

  • ohh come on ppl stop fighting about religion or not! just be happys were allive and have a good life when u dont just live to your fullest

  • Comment removed

  • @Lelouch1Suzaku But all the technology we take for granted (youtube for example) comes from the hard work of people seeking the truth about reality. Just 'being happy' and 'having a good life' may work for a lot of people, but we should all be thankful that some actually care about progress.

  • @Slanguaj ok i have 2 say that your right didnt really see it from that point of view buts thats the problem now a days everyone only wants to see it from there view i have to admidt that i think the say way sometimes

  • lol @ thunderf00t genocide. It totally sounds like a Glenn Beck statement to ask how to diminish the number of Muslims.

How do we get these damn punk kids off my lawn? I'm not saying we should. I'm just asking how :D

  • People have the right we definatly shouldn't destroy religion. The thiests just need to learn to keep it to themselves. Believe what you want but don't force it on others

  • When talking about religion, I will feel my view has its right to be expressed based on the merit of the religion in question and how that religion does negative things. BUT with this in mind, when I think of islam, despite how wrong I KNOW it is, I am socially conditioned to silence myself into thinking it is wrong to criticize islam.

I class myself as rational but what more evidence is there of social silencing than to make someone like me believe saying something bad about a bad thing is bad?

  • This video over-simplifies history and blames it all on religious ideology, not taking into account politics, economics, culture, and a million other intertwined causes. Making an argument about how fundamentalism contributed (or was the result of), their economic, political, and/or military inferiority, would be a much more interesting video in my opinion.

  • @GreenLightStop09

    Your opinion does not count.

  • @GreenLightStop09 "This video over-simplifies history and blames it all on religious ideology"

How do you then account for the Arab Empire that expanded rapidly to the east (China) to the West (Spain) within 100 years after the death of Mohammed, (piss be upon him)? The unifying force was Islam. And nothing has changed. It was a dagerous polictial ideology then, and is still so today. Islam is a backwards religous-politcial ideology hell bent on world conquest.

  • @LordSauceness Next your going to tell me the government put a chip in your brain.

  • @Sluggo117 _I'd suggest reading a history book or 2 & learn some of the facts of Islamic aggression. I'm afraid the chip is in your brain, and it would appear to be quite large.

  • @LordSauceness Do the Crusades ring a bell?

  • @Sluggo117 -Whatever the Crusades became, whatever atrocities the Crusaders committed, has zero to do with WHY the Crusades started in the first pl
