Can you imagine if we could fire all the hypocritical bullshit leaders in the world that are good for nothing but causing war and conflict; and only had ones that worked for peace and the advancement of the human race? We could be building star ships by now and going to these places. Well its a nice thought though.
@jaysunzz I am sure some people can trip out with there minds like Timothy Leary; but I would rather put more faith in the future of the space program. You remind me of people my mother use to talk about that laughed about men going into space or traveling to the moon when she was a child. Unlike the naysayers that have existed every since the beginning of time; I believe that anything is possible; including some day..Starships. Hope one of my descendants will pilot one.
@zenjim007 : mate I asbosutely agree with your toughts and feelings, we should travel intospace, and discover who we are, what life is,and evolve as human race!!
@taipohh That's to be included in the hypocritical bullshit package I mentioned earlier. We can't afford any more lame duck thinking that going to do nothing but promote and spread more hate and apathy as we travel into the cosmos. Take a cue from Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek where diverse cultures learn to respect their difference's in order to achieve an advanced society capable of building a world that promotes well being and hope for all and not just the wealthy and privileged.
@WaterCrystalline I saw that movie and thought it was going to be a build up to something really great; instead it was a sour letdown. That dialogue with the alien was as hokey as anything I seen in awhile and the ending was a total let down that made Jodie Fosters character look lame and stupid! I mean hard core atheist scientist climbing in bed with right wing religious fanatic who betrays her and she forgives him!? ...Reality check people! Was good for a few laughs.
@WaterCrystalline Foster is a really good actress; has been since even before she did "Taxi"; she played her part in the movie as well as she could; it just was a poorly written story is all. She did great in "The Brave One" which is sort of a female version of "Death Wish" which originally starred Charles Bronson. Of all actresses who started famously as a child; Foster has enjoyed more success in the transition to adult acting other than Elizabeth Taylor.
@TheFinlandnator Without knowing what appeals to you; I'll give you a few I like; John Carpenters "The Thing" (think fear, isolation and paranoia), "Dreamscape" (could dreams kill?), "From Beyond" (think mixing insanity, sexual promiscuousness S&M and Parallel worlds collide) These are Sci-Fi Horror. I like a lot of vintage stuff that was low on tech but high quality in writing that made you think. The original Outer Limits(T.V. series 1963 & 1964) is a great example.
@zenjim007 Another great one would be the Cube with Jennifer Lopez. Goes into the mind of kidnapper/serial killer to find the last of his victims in hopes that there still alive. Great movie!
@LacrimaeIgnis I haven't seen that one, but sounds interesting. I am not much into Lopez as a singer, but liked her in the first Anaconda movie. I like Michael Rodrigaz a bit better since she appeared in the first Resident Evil film. I hear she is going to appear in the next one although I don't know the story line. Maybe the original had a twin sister. She is really a hot actress who is good at at action film. She was in "Machete" too.
@TheFinlandnator If you don't mind me adding here to my answer; I tend to find more fun and entertainment in TV. series Sci-Fi than movies; probably because I want the fun to last. Here are my favorites; vintage first; "Time Tunnel", Voyage to the Bottom of The Sea", "Star Trek" "Night Stalker"(series that influenced "The X-Files), Lost in Space ( loved Robot..."Danger Danger"!!) I love "Enterprise" hated the rest, "Battlestar Galactica (The new series), 'Farscape"& "Lex"(fun!)
@SerbiaPsyTrance You might be right; but you never know; someone might make a major scientific break through that could change everything. If it doesn't happen in your lifetime; maybe your grandchild. It's still beautiful to think of the possibilities; you never know; maybe extraterrestrial visitors may decide to help us there more quickly than we would on our own.
@3Dmassacre Be careful with that nanotechnology; I saw an "Outer Limits" episode on that; i think it was called "New Breed"; and it didn't fare well for the dude who tried it. It is an interesting concept though.
wow , im sure ive commented the same thing before but ..this song and most of solar fields and huva network always gets my imagination running wild , i mean really really wild , i thought of things im sure i would never have without solar fields ..., thank you very much and ty poster
@WorldOfSnakes H.U.V.A. Network is a musical collaboration between Magnus Birgersson of Solar Fields and Vincent Villius of Aes Dana. "Distances" Ultimae Records, 2004 "Ephemeris" Ultimae Records, 2009 "Live at Glastonbury Festival 2005" Ultimae Records, 2010 Make sure u dont miss any of these from Solar Fields Studio albums 2001: Reflective Frequencies 2003: Blue Moon Station 2005: Leaving Home 2005: Extended 2007: EarthShine 2009: Movements 2010: Altered - Second Movements
@TheFluffy47 Really? I'd think you'd get a little fucked up cuz of that, in a messed up too much thinking time sort of way- but if u say so, too bad we don't have trains
@Raffaeledl I enjoy Solar Fields when completely sober actually the most and on an almost empty stomach whilst listening late at night through headphones in a dark room to the most ambient album Extended. I see most music by Solar Fields as the music of nothingness. When listening you feel nothing, almost mind numb as your mind just drifts off into random thoughts.
I like the juxtaposition of the way hurricanes look from above, as pretty white spiraly clouds, and the way they look from below, as destructive forces of nature.
That is the best music video I've seen in a long time......here is what I was thinking....
What happens to an elephant when it dies? It's energy flows into other living things, what happens to a star when it dies? The very same thing....
This situation we are in maybe a tiny fraction of the whole, but its only just getting warmed up!!!! We humans should start working together not fighting each other, we have a long road ahead of us, and many amazing experiences to share
@tomsguam1 Same =) I feel like we have certain missions out there ;) And solar fields just became my favourite electronic music producer ever =) I love ambient and deep music like this. Just takes me away to my own world. to space!
The video with the music is an awesome combination. It shows the escape of an idealist, who leaves the planet earth. The planet earth with his beauty will be destroyed by the irresponsible people, who are living here. He's looking for a new planet where the residents respect their planet!
5 creatures that rated this have no hearing capability!
They must be some sort of very basic, primitive creatures devoid of any possible (musical) art interpretation , gastropods certainly, probably slugs :)
It's amazing to think that we really are about to leave our home, Earth. It has been estimated that in the 23rd century humanity has reached the level of technology which allows interstellar travel. And that's just 200 years into the future!
The last two minutes are truly amazing seeing that distances in space. It helps me relax thinking about deep space traveling and what would be beyond of the beyond just blows my mind amay, where everything is unknown and mortal problems just fade away. Yes I know space is hostile enviroment to man, but there is pure peace. A place where human corruption and money are less than space dust. Amazing.
@TheSwordedge you're very welcome. though deep down inside, i feel that everybody on this planet, regardless of what culture they come from, feels this kind of fascination about the cosmos if they've ever looked up at night. it's just that most people never talk about it with each other, because its such a personal and sacred topic to us... but you just had an extremely good point in that beautiful paradox you stated. so it means then, that humans can never live in a place of pure peace...
@aznsp3c1alk Agreed on that one. It is rather personal and individualistic. And humans will never live in peace no matter where they are, beacuse that is not in the nature of man, as seen so many times in history. Too bad.
@junfaa Perhaps junfaa... it is the exact opposite. Imagine, rather, that our world, yours in particular, your thoughts and feelings, your perception, sensation, and imagination; your pain and your pleasure, your past, your present and your future... that none of it is insignificant, but entirely significant; indeed, central. For regardless of how deep and far into the vastness of space we explore, the exploration of our inner space never departs from or extinguishes our 'selves'.
I'm here with thumb out and up...Need to get up there...Time to get off this merry-go round rock thingy.. Spinning time and ages...it's the Clock of the ages in this count down of the human equation..7.21..=)
@Ismokeweederyday Seriously, what are you on about. I guess your username is for real, if not, i seriously reccomend you either see a gp or get out of GOD'S arsehole.
Never gets old... I always think of the outer parts of the universe and camping, both make me happy and get that warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach. Love it.
@calvinator9111111111 Why shouldn't he tell you that? Why do you have to hate? I recommen you to challenge your intelligence and think about that possibility how ancient religions and cultures had also been DEEPLY interested in anatomy of space. The religion we see in these times is often far away from the original philosophy of religions. Don't judge too easily<3 Don't hate, it doesn't make your life better.
@calvinator9111111111 + Also... All we are here in this space wondering in some level what is going on. Everybody has their own ways to tell pieces of truth. Life is a puzzle wich we should be building together, not in seperate groups. Understanding each other makes a relief.
I've always thought about Home as the place where your loved ones are, not essentially where u live that is. When I read the title "leaving home" (in my way) it felt kinda sad
i find the mind amazing, though our physical body's and our technology may have limits, and even going the speed of light may take millenniums to reach that distance. our imagination can with out trouble zoom from our earth to the edge if there is one of the universe in mere minutes.
@Ismokeweederyday when you say "creation through vibration" do you possibly mean that we are collapsed waves of probability? as in string theory, or do you have an independant take?
We are minnor creatures, comparing with universe... But we have destiny, but we dont know what we must do... Everything is connected around us, everything is spinning around, whole universe... :) But stupid human thinks, that he's something that is HIGHER EVERTYHING... Its not true, universe is infinitive, looking from our eyes, we cant say that is no life (except us), we cant say, that god is true, because its simply imagination of human brains, that are minnor... so think deeply again...
@onionman113 actually, we can't go far at all, we've merely scartched the surface my friend, and the limits we have already reached required so much time and so much calculation and supplies. my point is that i totally wish we had the capability of going further but we unfortunatley dont.
@ColdPiper226 but that is only using current resources and knowledge. think about it, 600 years ago if we told people that we could fly, or try and describe an explosion, they would of probably laughed in our face. Who knows what the future may hold.
@sichosi, while what you say is true, the fact still remains that each advance in time and technology that we pursue brings a new level of difficulty and challenge with it. regardless of what we achieve in the future the next step will always be harder. but i still have my optimistic fantasies about our exploration and space, and no one can really say for sure, but there is definetley something waiting for us out there.
Just one example of simply GREAT stuff, produced on the Ultimae-label... It has stolen my heart from the beginning on: all music they bring out is high-quality music and very sophisticated and well-recorded. I have been informed that they are 'end-mixing' most of their music in a former 'opera-house'...don't know if that's really so!
Smoking cannabis sure helps to focus on the intent of the moment. However, we are the beings of starstuff. We are the co-creators, the very shards god. We have forgotten how powerful we truly are. Beings of the third density awaken. Know that we are all one.

i believe anti depressants are prescribed too lightly, but i do not know your case
by any means, there are other ways to feel better in life by doing a little effort, like sport to release endorphines
without any permanent side effects, which ssri inhibitors guarantee
so thats why i believe you shouldnt say something like that on an open platform like youtube

Never gets old... I always think of the outer parts of the universe and camping, both make me happy and get that warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach. Love it.

@Ismokeweederyday Why did you tell me that? I fucking hate it when people have to bring religion into everything.
calvinator9111111111 1 year ago 4

We've gotten this far why can't we go farther? We've come to the point we can leave Earth and go to most other planets... But why not farther?
onionman113 1 year ago
@onionman113 actually, we can't go far at all, we've merely scartched the surface my friend, and the limits we have already reached required so much time and so much calculation and supplies. my point is that i totally wish we had the capability of going further but we unfortunatley dont.
ColdPiper226 1 year ago
@ColdPiper226 but that is only using current resources and knowledge. think about it, 600 years ago if we told people that we could fly, or try and describe an explosion, they would of probably laughed in our face. Who knows what the future may hold.
sichosi 1 year ago
