@SpiritofDevotion Oh I know that. I probably phrased these questions wrong. Sorry, I'll try to correct it. In first question I meant that a person might not be able to remain permanently in the mode of goodness, you said it's a condition to be in a community. So what happens if person fails in it, do they have to leave then? And in other questions I meant about location of the community, in geographical sense.
@moonrice Oh, I'm just about to create a video to present the community, please stay tuned. It is located in Mexico. Not everyone can be in the mode of goodness, but that doesn't mean they have to leave or quit. There is opportunity for everyone, that is the actual Vedic Way. The core concept is that everyone does what they are naturally inclined to do, but goverened by principles in the mode of goodness, no meat eating, no intoxication, etc. That will lead to success.
@SpiritofDevotion Ok it would be interesting to hear more about community. You sometimes mention India in your videos so I thought it's there but it's in Mexico. I've never been there, is there some spiritual center in Mexico or are many people there interested in this sort of thing?
@moonrice Mexico is not precisely a spiritual center but it is a good location for a spiritual community because of lower cost of living and closeness to US. Couldn't sleep if we had to pay for rent in New York! Not many people are interested because most people can't even stop eating meat... what to speak of surrendering to God. You'll see in the video =)
@moonrice Oh because one can easily come and return, do a test visit, things like that. If one is too far away, it would be a much harder choice. The location doesn't matter so much as long as there is reasonable weather and natural resources. Wouldn't want to start a community in Antartica or Canada... Specially if aiming for self-sufficiency.
I wonder if ghee which is available in the West is any good, probably it too is made from milk of cows that's been fed hormones and chemicals. Commercially manufactured foods probably can't have goodness.
@moonrice I'm sure there is an organic variety, but almost anything bought in the store has some kind of nonsense. That is why it is better to develop self-sufficiency independent communities of devotees.
@moonrice Of course it exists. There are many, most of them are only accepting members of a certain group or spiritual master. Which I don't find very attractive. But I'm part of one that has no such annoyances. You want to join one?
@SpiritofDevotion I haven't really heard much about it, I don't know. I'm curious how does such thing work, it's like a monastery? People leave their families and the way they used to live and start to live whole different way, I can't imagine what it's like.
@moonrice Oh no, more like a gated community. With the main difference that only people interested in Spiritual Life are part of it. No need to quit family life, only need is that everyone if focused on developing their love of God.
@SpiritofDevotion Is it like retreat then? How do people balance their responsibilities in their worldly life and responsibilities in the community? Where is their home?
*Live with people in the mode of goodness within a community
*Aim for very low expenses (rent, food, maintenance)
*Perform some local or online business to maintain the minimum expenses.
Family life means all the family is engaged in spiritual life. There is no need to divorce work from spiritual life. Simply offer the results of work to God, that is called Karma-Yoga.

@SpiritofDevotion Independent community of devotees, does something like that actually exist or it's just in theory?

@moonrice The idea is very simple, in summary:
*Live with people in the mode of goodness within a community
*Aim for very low expenses (rent, food, maintenance)
*Perform some local or online business to maintain the minimum expenses.
Family life means all the family is engaged in spiritual life. There is no need to divorce work from spiritual life. Simply offer the results of work to God, that is called Karma-Yoga.
