They are from Downpatrick, they went to my school (before my time) and in one of their interveiws they said they got their inspiration from a Mr. Park, he still teaches at my school and has a massive poster of ASH in his classroom, they were northern Irish as we do regonised it as a seperate state.
They describe themselves as Irish, not Northern Irish. To describe someone as being "northern Iirhs" can be considered as offensive as Irish people do not recognise the NI statelet under British jurisdiction as a seperate country.

Hi trolls! Isn't the other guy Ian Macculloch from Echo and the Bunnymen? That's really cool because I love both bands... but have to agree the cover lacks a bit of something that the original undertones had.
