  • the next Knight Rider Car! lol

  • My favorite YouTube car video. I want a 71 Mach SO bad. Wife wouldn't hear of getting one that old so i got a 01 lol. Man this is the best looking Mach 1 on here. Sounds great even for standard old Flows.

  • sounds like a BOSS haha!!

  • I love your car sir, im more of a chevy and mopar guy, but i have always loved the mach 1's.

    p.s. She sounds so beautiful!!

  • sweet sweet love

  • Love the sound on American muscle

  • hay i am rbuilding well a lot of fixing on mine and i gotta say dude your looks and ounds like a beast!!!! mine doesnt sound anywher as beastly as yours, hay btw do you know (im sure u do) if you can put in an ac into these cars cuz mine doesnt have one (other then olling down the windows) and my gma said that i cant but my mom said that i can but it would cost a lot of $.

  • hot dam ! very unique " existing as the only one or as the sole example" luv the whole blacked out look with accent stripes. i had a 71 red mach 1 when i was 17 351 4v c6 and the same wheel set up too. i luved it and STILL regret letting it get away from me

  • Awesome! my first car was a candy apple red 71 Mach 1 351C with Cragers.

    Great memories...thanks for uploading

  • May I ask your header and exhaust set up you have? I really like it alot.

  • such a tough looking machine

  • Could ya tell me the tire and wheel sizes you runnin on this, i really like the cars stance on your set-up, i am building one myself and would appreciate any info

  • @dirtysouthsinner The front wheels are 15x7 with 245-60-15. Out back are 15x10 with 295-50-15. The frontend has been droped 2".

  • What wheels and tires are you using?

  • is that a 1971 351 C engine, or is it an aftermarket crate engine? by the way, nice sound, but i personally prefer stock mufflers. the car has an unique sound and flowmasters make it sound just like any other muscle car.

  • @machone7I It is the original block and heads 351c

  • is it possible to upgrade that kind of car ? For example better steering, better brakes, bigger engine, airbags maybe and that stuff ?

  • @smoku46 Yes it is possible. If you have enough money you can do anything.

  • @smoku46 it's relatively easy to upgrade brakes and steering, the 351 cleveland is a great engine, and over 500 hp can be obtained, without turbocharging or supercharging. a bigger engine would make it handle worse, making the car nose heavy. new tyres and suspension would make it an effective track car, if you previously upgraded what i mentioned before. rollbars, and structural reinforcement would better than airbags for a high performance car like that.

  • @smoku46 ther are producers which sell performance parts for those vintage muscle cars like steering suspension and pretty much everything for a car.you can improve handling pretty well.

  • the $92K i spent on rebuilding mine was well worth it! =D

  • just dont wreck your car, lol.

  • @AmericanMan44 rofl

  • You have one beautiful machine there... I hope I can get mine looking as good as yours

  • such a nice car

  • such a nice car

  • the original rims were not used because you upgraded the tire size correct?Or did you not like the original rims from the beginning?

  • now THIS is what a muscle car looks & sounds like!!

  • wow, nice! what size tires front and back? looks killer

  • Hand your ol' lady the camera and get in there and drive that thing as if you were born with testicles!!

  • Sweet Mach 1!

I added this video to Mach1Club do a Google search you'll find us! Come join the club!

  • Any Mach 1 enthusiasts come and join our site! Do a search for Mach1Club we would love to have you!!

  • Car sounds sweet what kind of mufflers did you use with the headers

  • Three Camber RV Flowmasters

  • beautiful car man. i have the one too, swapping the 302 that's in it for a 429.

    looking at videos for inspiration

  • This looks just like the mustang off the movie brick. Great movie btw.

  • haha that's what i was thinking.

  • is that a three fifty one?? or three fifty four?

  • The nicest sound from these older engines is the air being sucked onto the carburetor at full throttle!

  • I put the same exact motor in a 1993 mustang coupe notch back. Runs 6.09 1/8 mile. WICKED MOTOR. I know that car u have will run. No ifs and or buts or doubts about it.

  • I usually preech about big blocks, but the 351 cleveland is one of the exceptions. Awesome motor! I also like the 340 and the 375 horse small block chevy of the day. Nice!

  • @mine1username 351C is not a big block, Ford never classified there engines by block, only by families, 351C is in the 335 family which is 351C/351M/400 but the 351C has a tranny bolt pattern the same as the Windsor family which is 289W/302W/351W

  • @jlpounds2001 - Yes I agree. That's why I said I usually preach about big blocks, but the 351C is the exception, meaning it's more of a small block. Agreed though the 351C, M and 400 are more in between a small and big block. I'm a 385 series guy myself. The 460 is one of my favorite engines of all time. The 427 Sohc and Chrysler 426 are the top of the list though.

  • @mine1username Oh yes the 460 is a monster i agree, i have a 1976 ford motorhome with one and i have a Edelbrock RPM intake, Edelbrock 750cfm carb and hedman headers on it and it gets the stares when i drive it around :)

  • hey robinsgarage what wheel and tire size are you runnin, really like how yours sets. got a mach 1 in progress myself

  • PUT THE FOOT DOWN!!!!!!!

  • That is a really nice and clean 71 Mach 1. I really like that sound of the 351C. How much horsepower is this car putting out right now? I think these are close to around 300hp if I'm not mistaken.

  • awesome this video makes wanna buy one so bad. is just badass the color n shape of it

  • the best of the best°°°°°°°°°

  • muy padrisimo sin palabras...........

  • you got my dream car damn it

  • one of the best sounding cars i have ever herd! how did you do it?

  • The71's are the most impressive. Very muscular looking car of all the mustangs. Also, the best stock quarter mile times..boss 351C in particular. Beautiful car.

  • Now there's a car worth making a video about. Beautiful tires and rims too...unlike those gaudy tractor wheels some people are ruining them with. '71 Mustang's are the most awesome looking muscle cars of all time. It don't get any better than that. The next restyle ruined them. All their great stylists must have retired.

  • Look at the gloss on the beautiful car!

    Damn!

  • The car was painted in 1986.

  • Shit. That was taken care of very well.

  • oh my god, the car in the video made my computer and desk shake

  • Is it stock?!

  • Awesome car

  • u got a race cam in er?

  • This girl could definitely see her self behind the wheel of that beauty!!!! Love it!

  • cleveland 351...

  • Comment removed

  • omg, i agree with chasitysweet. this is a very very nice car. take good care of her!

  • I couldn't help it I had to come look again, its sooo damn fine.

  • No problem. Thanks for the compliment!

  • I'll take it off your hands if you'd like!

  • No. I think it's a keeper!

  • Wow what a beauty i'm in love with your car man :*

    i hope you don't mind ;)

  • Beautiful Mustang! It's alot like my 73... No shock tower braces? Ugly Things aren't they?

  • It would be great to see the interior of this Mach I. I hear the four speed so a nice video running on the highway then approaching a curve with a double clutch down shift would be totally cool.

  • I'll try to get around to putting some up. It is really nice inside. I think you'll like it!

  • This car can also be seen in Rodney Atkins music video "If Your Going Through Hell".

  • This is probably one best looking and sounding 71 Mach I's I have seen in a long time. Something about the all black looks clean. The car sounds awesome. The 351C 4V m-code is still one of the greatest ford engines ever built! I love the unique sound and not to mention the lofty cam.

    Nice!

  • What all have you done to the 351?

  • What size are the wheels and tires?

  • Fronts are 245-60-15 tires on 15x7 wheels. Rears are 295-50-15 tires on 15x10 wheels.

  • Any clearance issues with the 15x10s?

  • I had to run air shocks.

  • ever ran the 1/4?

  • This is a 11:3, 351-C. The cam is a solid lift Doug Herbert 250/260@50 Duration and 601 lift.

  • damn sounds like the big block! 428?

  • 1 tough car very nice

  • Thanks!

  • Oh wow very, very nice.

That color makes it seem menacing.

What kinda cam you got in their?
