too bad John didnt have the stones to put that cunt in her place. the white album could have been a streamlined masterpiece without some of the lenono crap!
What a hideous cunt Yoko is. No wonder the atmosphere became "tense" with that disgusting bitch in the studio. The Beatles didn't benefit by her presence or her flaky "artistic" contributions. It's unfortunate that she was tolerated at all.
People can deny it all they want ,but from the moment LOCO entered the picture the rot set in.C'mon man.How DARE some broad impose on the fabs sessions ?And seriously WTF was lennon thinking ?That he had a right to impose HIS bitch on the other 3?No wonder the rot set it.The bitch had an agenda and that was to convince him to scuttle the greatest band that has even been. And it worked.Lennon would still be alive today if she hadnt convinced him to go out and about as if it was NOT dangerous.
No one, with a sane grip on reality, takes 21st century gender ambiguity seriously as he/shes are incapable of riding, for more than an hour & fifteen minutes, ten-speed English racer-bikes with narrow saddles. Their peaches are spoilt, their leftwardliness is undifferentiated as foldermenia is a subtype of schizophrenia. They don't (as well as they can't) embrace Christian morality gracefully.
Essentially, Revolution 1 and 9 both source from this. Revolution 1 is basically the first part, where everything sounds normal, and Revolution 9 is the coda, this part, where things start getting freaky. John and Yoko added a shitload of sound clips and such, and the famous "Number 9... Number 9... Number 9"
@worldcitizenforever what are you some dumb mexican? get you dirty, lawn mowing ass back across the boarder and take some more english classes. then come back and call me up, i need some shrubs pulled.
@worldcitizenforever And I suppose Stevie Wonder in the Seventies was shit too. And going to the moon was sooooo boring and gay. Get Bent. What are you doing leaving comments on a Beatles video for? Go back to your Coldplay CDs ...
The demand for more unreleased Beatles will never be met, so EMI should just drop the whole batch for us in some way or other. Maybe special "The Making Of...." CDs that are similar to the "Anthology" series but different. Maybe one called "Beatle Jams" where you get tracks like this, the full "Revolution," and other cuts like the full "It's All Too Much," the 30 min. "Helter Skelter," the unedited "You Never Give Me Your Money" that has a great long guitar solo at the end.
there are cd's called the alternate abbey road, alternate hard day's night and so on. but i have not come across them yet. and those contain alternate takes to songs and out takes.
@MattHatter I agree. I think they should have the "making of" for all the albums, the Please Please Me Sessions, etc. Just include all the takes. The Beach Boys did it with Pet Sounds. I think it would sell like mad!
@cointoast NO shit.Say what ya want but lennon wasnt exactly"all there" in how he went about it with that broad.I mean FUCK man, love is one thing but being seen to be pussy whipped almost like some male submissive to his "owner" in ALL the clips.. the white album.. let it be movie.. ALL of them is SUCH a turn off man.Ya never saw McCart behaving like some wimp who was pussy whipped and he loved HIS woman just as much.
You can hear lots of what you hear in Revolution 9 as this section obviously was used as a base for what became 9 as clarified in the book 'Complete Beatles E.M.I. recording sessions' a great book
The White Album should have been a single album, not a double. I like the album but many of the songs could have been left out and the album would have been a classic.
Sometimes in the past i have agreed with you but then kept being undecided what i could leave off & what would be indispensable so,the problem with this hypothesis is that everyone who agrees has their different 'version' of a single album.Secondly,i always conclude with too much for a single album as SO MUCH has to stay for me.Ultimately i now kind of go towards Mc.Cartneys view expressed in 'Anthology' that what it is it is & thats PART of its appeal. Also its a part of history ; why lose any ?
Did you mean to say it was or wasn't a classic? You've left us confused. At the time, I can see George Martin's stance. The caliber of what they were doing was so extraordinarily high. But think of the dozen or so Beatles songs that we'd only get to hear on bootleg. I think the White Album grows on you over time. And I'm inclined to the opinion of Sir Paul on the subject: It was only The Beatles bloody White Album--for better or worse, so shut up! (His words, not mine.)
I met George Martin back in 2002. He told me that the stuff Yoko and John wanted to put in the album was bad and he tried to keep it off , so did the other Beatles. He said it was a good album but it would have been a great album without some of the Lennon Yoko songs. I agree.
@TELEVISIONARCHIVES Really? THats interesting. Man, was it THAT bad that George MArtin doesnt want those songs included in the White Album? Maybe he's right. I've seen some of Yoko's performances in the early 70s and it was really weird. I saw a clip from a tv show featuring John jamming with CHuck Berry and Yoko suddenly blurted out sounds like a screaming, dying bird. Weird, man. Weird.
@TELEVISIONARCHIVES I think Martin cleaned it up a bit. But if stuff like Revolution 1 and 9 were not included it would not be the White Album. It was the weirdness of it that was appealing. It drove Charles Manson crazy, but you have to remember it was just a crazy time in 1968. I can remember that time although I was only a child. I remember the hippies sleeping in the parks and they smelled like homeless people, because they were you know.
@TDS4UT I was a teen during the entire Beatles era and the entire 60s "magic time" .I only remember it as being the most unusual;wonderful;indescribable period since the 50's to the present. The whole"peac-love" thing only lasted a SHORT time.67-70.BUT i have to say there was "magic" in the air for that tiny period.Soon enough drugs tore up peoples lives and the "love thing" became just people. And NOT"nice"ppl at that.Sad BUT.. you had to be there to know HOW wonderful it was while it lasted.
@TELEVISIONARCHIVES Thats exactly right!! Fact is except for REAL specific songs, a lot of lennon's stuff was as bad as what McCart's been criticised for so often.Even pretentious at times. In this case,"bungalow bill;yer blues;me and my monkey:warm gun ???uhm... NO.Martin was right. Some of it WAS c-r-a-p-o-l-a.
@TELEVISIONARCHIVES f that i think its great with all that crazy stuff. john and yoko had their thing going sometimes. eccentric in their own way. their only true crime were the zappa live recordings they remixed with ridiculous tape echo, applause, and renamed "king kong" "rag jam" or some bs.
@TELEVISIONARCHIVES So in a world with a finite amount of Beatles songs, you want less? You, sir, haven't thought your statement through. If there was a secret beatles tape of them farting into a fishbowl with a mic in it, I'd devour that recording like a ravenous piranha, just like I've done so with every other Beatles song there is.
It's an album FAMOUSLY known for its APPEARANCE rather than its title; which -- considering the(VERY!) soon to come re-release, along with the rest of The Beatles' canon -- is going to sell yet more millions of copies in the coming years, and which_most_hardcore Beatles fans will put in their top 3 of favourite Beatles albums.
It's the album that shows the most famous group in history starting to break up, having just returned back to earth after a year of psychedelia.
INCREDIBLE! Where do you tubers find this stuff? It's like the Ark of the Covenant or something. I've read about this recording but never thought I'd get to hear it. The White Album has been my favorite album for a very long time. There seem to be so many MYSTERIES within it. John was the freakiest Beatle by far, and this song proves it. Thanks for posting it.
I have been studying Beatles bootlegs for awhile now. I have found mixes for German LP and EP releases. DESS mono, alternate takes, both in stereo and mono. There is a wealth of material that has been stolen from EMI over the years. As for a "Let It Be" DVD, yeah it's long since time it was released. Even here there have been instance of missing video and audio tracks. I suppose no one will ever be able to give us all of it. But I live in hope.
I am sure there is more from EMI and Apple. One of the problems is that the estates of John and George have to okay the release of anything else. I suspect that Circus Of Light, and this version of Revolution are merely the tip of the iceberg. I have heard other outtakes of White Album, and there's lot of good stuff left. Personally were I EMI, I would track down ALL the bootlegs and then issue "mega" albums with mono, stereo, and outtakes in one album/CD US and EMI stereo and rare other stereo
Esta version es extraordinaria, pero solo apreciada por verdaderos fanaticos, la version es real sin duda, ojala se descubran mas canciones o versiones ineditas que estoy seguro que por alli existen. Mientra , disfruten de esta joya de la musica.
fake or not...it's pretty boring after 4 minutes...the beatles did the right thing chopping this one down for the white album...if this tape is real it proves one thing...the beatles were awesome editers..
Not sure what you think is faked about this. No, the Beatles didn't put this clip together, but it's all authentic footage from the time period and is an interesting video accompaniment to a recently unearthed outtake. Also, there are no imitated Beatles voices anywhere in this clip that I can hear. What are you talking about? Yoko's on there, if that's what you're talking about... Better brush up a bit on your Beatle voices...
Umm... it's the real deal... no kidding. The video someone cobbled together, but the music is the real take of Revolution 1. Try looking around a little...
he said he plans to release it. Probably in the next 6 months. But the clip is obviously thrown together. But, as for the recording...it's real, no question about it. I love the little kid voice in the later half. This is great!!!
Secondly, where did you hear CoL was due in the next six months? I know it's very likely coming soon but where exactly did you hear the six months part?
i just said it...nothing behind my words. but when macca says he's gonna release something, it's happens faster then you think. My bet is it'll be released in the next 6 months.
wow, thanks for letting us know! you obviously are a true expert. well done for setting the record straight... of course, the accents are 'poorly done', the clip (all one of it) shows an 'amateur's hand'. how foolish we've been to believe it! thank god we have experts like you on hand, mr/mrs/ms paulnodead. and thanks for letting us know that paul is not in fact dead - and there was me believing those rumours. phew! it's ok! mccartney is alive! it was a hoax!
It *could* be a way to....**increase** the sales potential for these gems (Not that the Fab 4 team [Apple/EMI] *needs* to "worry" aboud sadi potential..) by *teasing* the public with the knowledge of thes goodies in the can..Hmmmmm?
Revolution is one the beatles most brilliant songs. What a shame anthology skipped this Gem... The powers that be at apple continue to miss the mark when i comes to satisfying the fans lust for tracks like this and helter skelter (30 min version). or the Let it Be DVD ! . Hopefully this track is a sign of things to come and that more tracks from the white album held in the abbey road vault come to light... this is a long lost treasure
Well part I is now back up yet again folks. But oddly it's not on Katmak21 page. If you do this search here on youtube you will find it & be able to hear & play both parts of this amazing track/discovery:
Beatles REVOLUTION 1968 White Album Version Pt1.
That's what you search for:
Beatles REVOLUTION 1968 White Album Version Pt1.
Any that say "Revolution Take 20" seem to not last even one day before they are pulled.
Well part I is gone already now!! Curse EMI!!! What a load of crap. This is just too good & word got out too fast is all. Pandora's box is open & folks will both find it & continue to post it. Blessings!!
It's up Stud75!!! Click on Katmak21 & go to their page & you'll find part 1. Oddly it appears to have been posted 2nd, but I just heard this all. Just load up both parts with part 2 on pause & you're good to go-go. GREAT track!! Better than I had imagined. I thought it would be more segregated- 1/2 this & 1/2 that, but WOW it's a different, but recognizable song that morphs into a cross with #9. Incredible. This should have been on "Anthology 3"!!!
too bad John didnt have the stones to put that cunt in her place. the white album could have been a streamlined masterpiece without some of the lenono crap!

he said he plans to release it. Probably in the next 6 months. But the clip is obviously thrown together. But, as for the recording...it's real, no question about it. I love the little kid voice in the later half. This is great!!!

This recording is real, first of all.

Brilliant! This is *WAY COOL!*
Note to michaelmojzes:

Hey GREAT news part I is back up yet again!!!
linclink 2 years ago
Well part I is now back up yet again folks. But oddly it's not on Katmak21 page. If you do this search here on youtube you will find it & be able to hear & play both parts of this amazing track/discovery:
Beatles REVOLUTION 1968 White Album Version Pt1.
That's what you search for:
Beatles REVOLUTION 1968 White Album Version Pt1.
Any that say "Revolution Take 20" seem to not last even one day before they are pulled.
Happy hunting & listening.
