My first shiny(besides red Gyarados in Silver) was in Emerald, and was a silver Slugma. A few restarts of the game later, I got a black Rayquaza. Since then I've not seen a legit shiny. Kinda weird.

my second shiny was i mightyana. I had just battled Gabby and Ty (the reporters) and went to go heal at the pokemon center, and I accidently ran into one patch of grass, and then the shiny mightyana appeared. :)

Dude I captured a legendary pokemon with a singel try ~ singel pokeball, no joking.

I think it was the red pokemon in ruby, I've forgotten that name cause it's like 5 years ago :)

Here is the trick, I think you should hold down(not sure but search the internett :))

L+R then A, and press the three togther. Well a sort of combination worked for me :) saves money and makes you lucky, I jizzed in my pants that day xD

Also I've two shinys tentacruel and a fearow :)

Regiock hasnt as bad as shadow lugia it look me 5 restarts caught it the thrid time but thanks to my parents they didnt let me save so i had to try again

Um. Anyway. Congratulations on the shiny 'Yena and all, but what I'd like to know is, why do you have a Sableye on your team? :/ Sure, the choice in those types isn't the greatest, and Sableye is badass, but... they're also rather weak.

@hoshidoragon I has shiny Crobat.. Could clone it, transfer it to Pearl and send it over wi-fi if you happen to have Pearl/Diamond.

..And if I happen to find a working access point for Wi-Fi.
