He stated that American gun-owners are in error to think that they can stand up against the government in the event that the government decides to come after them. Yet, how many times has he said "the first thing Hitler did was confiscate guns from German citizens"? (The question implies that had German citizens been able to keep their guns, then the Nazis wouldn't have had it so easy in implementing their agenda. See?)
