The court system is bias towards the wife in most domestic violence cases, if the woman attacks a man with a knife, and the man disarmed the woman by twisting her wrist before she did any damage. All the woman would have to do is say that he attacked first... and its almost certain that the man will go to prison. I've seen it happen

That's actually not true. Based on the size, shape, and location of the woman's injury, the incident could easily be recreated, indicating whether or not the woman was charging towards the man while holding something when he twisted her wrist. Plus, the knife itself would probably be nearby and would have her fingerprints. Our judicial system isn't perfect, but it's very aware that both women and men can be liars, and no case is won simply by someone claiming something happened.

I definitely see how some laws seem to ignore men (especially with regards to divorce, child custody, and rape). However, these, as well as this "propaganda" you speak of, are a proportional response to the amount of violence against women. They're not implying men are crueler than women or that men aren't abused; they're addressing the fact that statistically women are more mistreated than men. This is the legal system's way of making people understand that abuse is unacceptable.

@shadowmare97 I was abused during my first marriage. I was brought up never to hit a woman and my wife used to hit me with her high heels. She stabbed me once and when I went to the police they laughed at me saying sure a big man like you and a little woman like her.
I had to leave her, it was the only way to get away from the abuse. I have since learned that there are a lot of abused men, more than abused women but they are not taken seriously.

I dislike it when it's always painted some "black and white" that situations of abuse are that simple. They aren't- most abuse is reciprocal and most of it is due to a bad situation and not just a guy who wants to batter his woman. I dislike the misinformation that is not spreading around the world.
