  • The messed up thing about it...after all of this and all of the stuff God brought them through they still had the NERVE to doubt him and disobey him smh

  • When I was little, I thought that the part at 1:35 meant that there was going to be a sequel

  • RIP 90'S! and Whitney Houston

  • 0:32 wtf? what are those two doing there?

  • @Iamatheist1234 They went with the Hebrews when they left.

  • @Iamatheist1234 A bunch of Egyptians went with the Hebrews to be their slaves, because they knew it would be a better life. Sweet, sweet irony.

Also not in the movie: the Hebrews solicited gold and valuables from the Egyptians before they left (as a commandment from God), so they left with tons of goodies on top of being free. ;) And presumably they used that gold to smelt the decorations needed for the tabernacle.

  • ****! I really touch see this movie for the 1st time =.=' our country this movie is band I dont know why.. so this is my 1st time. In our religious MOSES is 1 of our propeth..

  • im crying!

  • i love Moses brother's accent in this..

    british lovely

  • this movie very beautiful!:) Full of Good Moral!:) God is Only God...:) He(GOD) said, he only is the only one! God Is Always Here...:)

  • that awkward moment when you think a cartoon version of Moses is hot af..

  • is it me or did two of the soilders join moses 00:31 if not than i need new glasses

  • @RubySBunie yeah, when the waters calm after sweeping away all the soldiers you can see the two of them standing there looking at all the happy Hebrews kinda like "oh... wow.... we totally didn't think this through... huh....... we're the only two Egyptians here......."

  • I love this movie!!! I was supposed to watch it in religion but got only through 45 mins of it. i couldn't wait see it!!!! <3 the movie soo much.

  • Moses also delivered the Ten Comandments

  • and then they worship a random handmade god and moses gets pissed and they go on a full out war and kill each other and he survivors of god wander around for decades to find where the promise land is....

  • Its like a big fat to be continued. But, whenever I watch this movie I have my faith renewed almost like god knows how to reach me.

  • In the bible doesnt god say moses can't enter the promised land and he dies? Glad they didn't put that bit in the movie

  • Whoa! Did anyone else notice Sandra bullock was Miriam?!? :D

  • Wow....sexy Moses.

  • God can do things much greater than that

  • Moral of the story. Dont piss off God, He is one ANGRY mo fo with a short temper. I mean did you see how fast he snapped at moses when he questioned him?

  • This movie is amazing. God works wonders. All power and praise be to him. With God anything is possible!

  • *Deleted final scene*

Moses: Right lads I was just up the top of the mountain talking to God and he gave these Ten Command- what the FUCK are you doing with that golden calf?

  • @Kerriangel it is not ok for you to be cursing at God. Not even in a joking matter. May he forgive you. God Bless

  • @TheIrina15 he didnt curse at God

  • That was the first time I've ever seen this movie...THAT WAS AWESOME! The music, the animation, everything. They put their own spin on it, but the essential story of Moses, and everything that entails, was shown beautifully.

  • Fun fact

It took over 300,000 hours for the people making the movie to make the water because they wanted it to look realistic

  • :32 anyone else see the egyptians in the background!!!

  • this is how the world should be! all respect for eachother and NO trechery

    #real talk

  • Damn, haven't watched this in a while. I'm not even religious anymore and I'm still tearing up. I forgot how beautiful this film is.

  • people have different veiws on religion fgs just respect eacorthers oppinions no need for wrs over it SNM.

  • Awesome!!!!!!! :))

  • beautiful movie...

  • reallly good movie :)

  • Ifeelinda bad because i was watching this movie all the time now imlike maybe tomorrow or ill just watch it after school but i never do i didnt even really watch it now because i seen it somany times that i already knew what was gonna happen

  • lol as soon as he came from the mountain is when the shit began to hit the fan once again for the Hebrews. dumbasses shouldn't have worshiped the damn calf. Let some supernatural being rain fire down upon my enemies, quite literally, and separate a HUGE sea for my safe passage and see if I worship anyone else. The shit that started happening to the Hebrews after this they kinda brought on themselves for being stupid as hell.

  • @sonofzapp HAHA AMEN TO TRUE!!!!!!

  • hey they left out all the bad things the hebrews did. that's very one sided

  • WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.........LEFTOVER EGYPTIANS AT 00:31. DID THEY JOIN THE HEBREWS?

  • @sakonaga1 yes. many of the egyptian abandoned the pharaoh's rule in favor of the god of he Hebrews. a wise move.

  • i think its just me but moses has some pretty eyes!!!!!!!'

  • there's tears coming out of my eyes, the creators havee truley done a good job and i dont think ill watch another movie for a while.. its like i went on this journey with him it was completely magical that one man + god did this im still geeking out about it :D:D:D

  • i love this movie so much i love the ending because even though hes not talking its saying a thousand words!!!!! time to watch it again:):):):):):):):):):):)

  • 1:42

"Aww crap. I left my Wallet over there!"

  • If you don't like this film, honestly I feel sorry for you. Throughout the entire film I had goosebumps and I'm not very religious at all. Its just a powerful story in general and I think everybody should be able to get something from it..

  • HOW CAN U POSSIBLY DISLIKE THIS FILM? THUMBS UP IF U AGREE!

  • wow, and to think they were just racing through the kingdom in the beginning with each other.

  • Thank you for posting this. It used to be one of my favorite movies growing up and I'd forgotten how amazing it was.

  • i love this movie but its quite sad that moses was never reunited with his mother! <3 <3

  • when it came to good and very old movies this takes the cake it was the best movie of all time and i love it

  • Best movie all around a solid 10 out of 10

  • Excellent movie, for the most part it is accurate and sticks to the word of God in the book of Exodus. Epic songs as well....Boys 2 Men "I will get there" #classic

  • this is my favorite movie since my childhood

  • Honestly I'm atheist (meaning I'm religionless and I have a firm belief that God doesn't exist) and this movie continuously touches me every time I rewatch it.

  • @jgamefreak21 and you're still atheist even after watching it?

  • @jgamefreak21

Same here mate, it was long ago that I watched this movie and yet it still affects me :)

  • @jgamefreak21 Seeing with the Holy Spirit's discernment, I would suggest to you that there's a reason for that. And hopefully you'll discover that before the end.

  • @jgamefreak21 Amen on both counts, brother. :)

  • I LUV THE SONG WHEN U BELIVEV IT ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY A LITTLE

  • This is a story of faith and perseverance; whether or not you are religious does not count, though this is a bible tale. Dreamworks did a wonderful job portraying the unimaginable miracles portrayed in Exodus that seem to have been downsized or simplified so much that they seemed almost normal. The mind simply can't comprehend by words, and The Prince of Egypt paints a stunning picture of what happened to Moses and the pain, confusion, and fear he had to go through for his faith.

  • i used to be scared of that scene 1:21-1:52.

  • Great joke for a biblical movie *frown*

  • i want to see what happens after this. sex sex sex, golden animal gods, death, manna, and more sex, and more sodomy. woooooot

  • @aznguy11111 Excuse me, but that would be rather obnoxious since this is a BIBLE Cartoon. This isn't the time for such things, not even sodomy or what so ever. If you want to see such unpleasant stuffs, go somewhere else. This is not the right place, I believe.

  • i meant it as a joke.

  • I wish they could have shown him getting mad at Aaron for the golden calf incident!!

  • Moses' sister Miriam (I think that's her name?) looks like she's younger than him, right? Yet she must be older than him since she saw when the princess adopted him as a baby... :S How?

  • I love this movie! ^_^

Though every time I see the ending I think of Mel Brooks in History of the World part 1. "I bring to you these 15-" *drops a plaque* "-ten commandments!" lol

  • does anyone notice the Egyptian soldiers that made it through at 0:31 ?

    >_>

  • @SilverSwan16

Yeah, if you watched during the song "When You Believe," you can see a few Egyptian soldiers pretty much defecting to the Hebrew side. Which makes a lot of sense to me. If I was an Egyptian watching all the stuff going down with the plagues, I'd definitely consider converting faiths.

  • @decemberchylde ahhh! I did not notice that, but what you say makes perfect sense. ^_^

  • jesh . . . I'd hate to be an eygptian in this movie

  • So, is it just me or did Moses look pretty hot in this movie??

    PROLLY JUST ME.

    HOPE NOT................

  • @JeSTeRsKAnDy HAHA! i think the same thing everytime i watch it!! glad im not the only one! ha!

  • @JeSTeRsKAnDy Good someone agrees!! ;D

  • Ramses end always made me sad

  • Here's a bummer for all of you guys...as soon as Moses show em the 10 commandments they quickly turned to false gods and moses ordered them to slaughtered each other.....this was in the bible btw.

  • @Iamatheist1234 I'm glad you read it though

  • @Taikento I enjoyed bible stories back when i was a Christian, actually I still do, just don't believe in it unfortunately.

  • @Iamatheist1234 uhh ... no ..... he ordered them to melt the idol they made of gold and drink it ...

  • @TheHumbleTinkerer oh i c, that 's much better than killing them, phew . lol

  • God was the one who started everything, and he operates under the rules he created....and he gave humans free will....therefore he must allow his creation to un-ravel as people manipulate and control it....and i've seen a trend..like how in the old testament...he seems to be intervening more directly, then in the New Testament; take Jesus for instance...so....in reality, we cannot blame God for anything...

  • You do not need to be a religious person to understand or appreciate the lessons taught in this masterpiece of a film.

  • The beginning and the end of this movie were done REALLY well. The beginning drew me in from the get go with that amazing score. Well done

  • there are so many amazing themes in this movie. The message about the triumph of faith and endurance is powerful. When god called Moses, he thought he couldn't do it. There were so many things wrong with him and he believed that he had no hope of carrying out God's will. Sometimes we are like Moses and think that God has put too much on our plate for us to handle, but he KNOWS what he is doing. God doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called!!!

  • I love how they closed the musical note on the mother's song from the beginning. It was her love for Moses that saved him in the first place, and I like the small contribute to her.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG sooo much and God is...AWSOME!!!!!!!!

  • I like how the portray God's mercy in the end by sparing the pharaoh, God(in this film) knew that the Egyptians need their king to lead them so he spared their king even after all the crime he and his people had committed against the Hebrews.

  • Ive always thought about those few people who didnt get the message about the lambs blood... They're all like "paint my what? Why? I need that lambs wool for the cold season!"........*Dead*

  • why do i always cry at the ending when he has the commandments in his hands? GOD IS GOOD

  • 1:27 - 1:49 Epic sadness :(

  • I grew up on this movie. My mom saw this movie afew months after it was made and she showed it to me and i loved it!!

  • wtf why is he carrying a bunch of rocks at the end !!??

  • @adrianawashere1 those are the ten commandments!

  • @adrianawashere1 Those are the stone tablets that the 10 commandments were written on. That scene refers to a little while later when the Israelites were in the Sinai Desert and Moses went up Mt Sinai to talk to God and get His instructions for His people.

  • @adrianawashere1 Those would be the Ten Commandments

  • I don't even believe in god and this movie keeps making me cry. I've probably cried like seven times during this movie. It's just absolutely gorgeous. T_T

  • THIS IS THE STORY OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE BEING FREED FROM EGYPT.

  • who would dislike this beautiful movie? all i have to say is wow.

  • This is one good film but one must know the true story about this.. The book of Exodus tells it all.

  • please dont start an argument over what I say to you but everything happens for a reason. God doesn't do something without a reason. I fully believe in god and Its my opinion that Science and Religion are the same story just told in a different way. I grew up watching this movie, hearing the stories, I had a book with all these tales and loved them all because each one had its morals and hidden meanings.

  • PLEASE if you woul like to refer to God...do not swear......IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HIM....do not swear or get angry.....God has His REASONS and it is beyond the human mind to understand.....He did not say there WOULD BE NO TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS He said He will give us the spirit to get over them through them...God is an awesome God.....AND PLEASE HAVE FAITH.....read the bible maybe you will understand alot more.....God Bless You....and I will pray that you receive revelation.....

  • @Listen2Colors 9/11 was not caused by a god, neither was Hiroshima, Hitler, or Stalin. Hitler and Stalin were humans. Hiroshima was bombed by the US, not god.

Actually i take it as an insult that you said my god bombed the world trade center. thats just ridiculous

keep your insults to your self... I'm no religious nut, hell, Ive gone to church maybe five times, but thats... so... stupid.

  • @flare3000 religous nut?fuckin prick

  • @flare3000 Whenever something bad happens...that is when people recognize God and blame him for the bad things...

disappointing ..aint it? people argue over God every second of every minute of each day...When we die...we'll know the end result of our arguments and questionings...

  • @Listen2Colors i wish you would shut the hell up and watch the damn movie, ignorant ass!! dictartors, bombings, and bad weather are not the fault of god. shit i'm not sure of my religon, but i can tell you this, god didnt make all those horrible things happen. they just happend, history followed that course by people actions, not god.

  • @Listen2Colors one day i hope you find Him... He is truly great(: for your own sake, i will ask Him to forgive for what you've said.

  • @Listen2Colors GOD HAS A TIME FOR EVERYONE AND FOR YOUR SAKE ID PRAY FOR FORGIVNESS we humans are sinners allways have been always will be we promote same sex marrige (wich i don't even care ) we kill our own we eat innocent animals and rape young kids and if you have a brain in that empty skull you'd know there is a devil too . . . and he has power BAD power and he can do bad things so DONT YOU DARE BLAME GOD FOR SOOMETHIN SOMEONE ELSE DID U RE RE >:\

  • @Listen2Colors He's watching over us. Yeah, the world's shitty and has bad people and bad circumstances in it. I mean, if you've ever read the bible, He says that people will make bad stuff happen. He can't control what people do. And about natural disasters...yeah, they suck. Katrina displaced my family and me. But, they make our country realize that we do need to help our neighbors in Haiti, Japan, and everywhere else. Just thought I'd share my opinion, since you seem to throw your's around.

  • a beautiful story ... christian all the way ! x

  • i grew up with this movie. it's amazing and i love it alot. i'm not even religious. it's just a great story of faith and persistence regardless of your beliefs.
